The Pier House has a lovely location right at the beach, but no beach views which seems kind of a waste. The food was tasty. My friend and I had all appetizers and were elegantly satisfied. The music isn’t very good and it is very loud which made for a less than satisfying experience.

We had a wonderful time at the Pier House. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We got a fantastic table outside and we booked it just 10 minutes before we arrived which was really good from the gentleman who took the reservation call. I highly recommend the oysters and the muscles which were awesome. Brilliant restaurant, food, staff and location. I highly recommend this place.

3 stars id say is generous for this place. I’m not sure why it’s rated this high but perhaps I came on a bad day. The staff have a lot of attitude, and I’ve been to restaurants with less staff and are more busy that still have better serving times for food.

WOW! What an amazing experience. The food was some of the best I have had in LA. I am from NYC and have lived in Seattle for years so I know my seafood. The waiter was super nice too with good recommendations for the oysters. Got the tuna appetizer and the mussels. Even a blood orange beer that was amazing. It is pricey but worth it.
