By far the best BBQ north of Johnson. These guys are awesome, very personable and actually know how to smoke meats correctly. The ribs are where I start at a BBQ place and The Piggy Shack passed the test that so far no one else locally has. Good flavorful dry rub and smoked over a low enough heat to smoke not cook like others tend to do. The ribs come out with a visible smoke ring, still moist and best of all they have a good “pull” to them. Those that talk about “fall off the bone” are actually exposing ribs that are incorrectly smoked as well as a lack of Q knowledge. The other standout is an amazing sausage they have custom made for them. Terrific smoked flavor with a nice bite that needs no sauce or bun to be enjoyed. Speaking of sauce that’s good too as are the sandwiches and a serious banana pudding.

We stopped by this food truck on a bike ride. We’re glad we did! The food was delicious! The beans and the ribs were on point. Oh and the sandwich we got! I wish I could remember the name of it but it was sooooo tasty!! The kids couldn’t get enough of it! That and the fries well be back for sure!

My wife and I decided to try Piggy Shack today based on the reviews. We tried coming here for Fathers Day and they actually ran out of food right as we were walking up! So we decided to come back today. I am a huge BBQ person and could not wait to try this new place. I had high expectations based on the reviews. I have been to most every place in NW Arkansas and I have had BBQ is big places like Austin Texas and Kansas City. The young guy that helped us was very friendly and helpful. However we were informed they were out of several different things including the brisket I was wanting. We decided to both get the pulled pork sandwiches with baked beans and fries. The portions were also kind of small we felt for the money. The fries were decent but the baked beans were a pretty small amount. Fries were fresh and seasoned well. Nothing amazing but good. The beans we felt were pretty plain. Not much flavor. They were supposed to have meat in them but I only saw two tiny pieces of meat. I added their bbq sauce to them and they tasted better then. The most surprising to us was the pork. The meat itself tasted just ok. I was expecting more of a smokey flavor and it was really pretty bland. The bun was just a regular cheaper white bun. So many bbq places seem to make this mistake. I know they are cheaper but you could really make your bbq stand out if you just invest in a better bun. Butter the bun and toast them. SO much better that way. Overall, it was just ok. I was expecting better. I don’t like to write so so or bad reviews, but I try to be honest and fair. Maybe their other meats are much better, but as far as the pulled pork, not impressed, just ok.

Horrible service! Went Friday and waited 25 minutes for food, which was cheese fries and a pulled pork sandwich. Got called up twice for the wrong order, then realized they charged me $8 for a handful of fries with maybe 1/8 cup of pork on them in the tiniest to go box. Super disappointed by the lack of service and small portions. This is definitely my last time here.

I have come to this place several times….today was my 5th. I have yet to be served anything! Excuse today was they got there late. If I go later they run out of Everything! Like they barely have food or something. I wish I could review the actual food but that is apprently very hard to come by. I just don’t get it. Their page hours are different than what they put on the actual truck and if you like flipping the dice on getting served, go here. Well….wright’s was closed so I came by and had a couple beers while they opened an hour and a half late…with limited food ready….i got what they had and well….just awful. The mac n cheese was water and Mac….kraft would have been better. The brisket…..completely over cooked and super tough to chew. Pulled pork was decent though. The beans…..not loaded because well….they showed up late again. Please put something else in their spot

Extremely Slow; Awful, the wait was over 1 hour; for a sandwich & 2 sides; no cold drinks; they were not prepared for a influx of people in the middle of summer; I cannot recommend this food truck; they need to get it together!!!

As a transplant to NWA from Texas I’ve tried BBQ in Bentonville, Rogers, and NWA. I’ve never found anything worth the price you pay. That changed on 1/24/2020 at The Piggy Shack. I had the chopped brisket sandwich and finally found a place I can recommend, give it a try!

Phenomenal so far. Amazing ribs and the sausage is definitely on another level. Perfect amount of hear and a variety of spices. Best sausage I have had so far in bentonville.
