The Pizza Series Pizza is without a doubt one of the best pizza experiences in the area. I was bummed when they stopped serving in the Industrial area and so excited to see them here. I absolutely love the Hidden Forest pizza, and the Tomato Basil and Easy Cheesy are both great options as well. Their Detroit style is really what sets them apart as exceptional. I used to drive all the way into Boulder Creek every time I wanted a pizza that made my soul happy and am glad to have something I enjoy just as much closer to home.

My husband who was born and raised in Detroit was pretty excited when he discovered this place a couple years ago. The Detroit style is definitely authentic and and satisfying! We are also huge fans of the the round pizza which is more akin to a NY style-I was pretty wowed the first time I had it. Growing up on the east coast I had yet to find a local pizza place that reminded me of the pizza I ate in my youth until we came across the pizza series. This is the BEST pizza in Santa Cruz county.

Pizza Series is seriously the best. Their pizza has perfect crust whether you go “regular” rounds or Detroit style and they have some delicious and unique combos like the chicken maple which is my personal favorite. We come here practically every week and are so stoked they opened up in scotts valley. Highly recommend giving them a try. They’re always super friendly and welcoming.

We ordered from here when they were in the old Borland building and weee amazed at the quality of pizza. We are so happy they have a real restaurant space now where you can pop in and grab a slice. Their Detroit style is some of the best I’ve had in the country and their New York style is also very good. I hope they stay in business for a very long time as I’d argue you can not find a better slice in California.
