They say “Believe in pizza again”. Well, I restored my trust in pizza.

The Pizza Shop sells pizza by the slice for $5 each ($4 for a plain cheese slice). However, the crust is too crunchy and dry for NY style pizza. The tomato sauce is too thinly spread on the pepperoni/mushroom slice. On the other hand, the garlic tomato white pizza had good flavors with sprinkles of pesto on top. Overall, passable for a quick, convenient slice in the Mission

I ordered a “whole pie pesto and cheese only”. What we got was pizza sauce, pesto, cheese, & jalapeños. My coworker grabbed one, without looking and gagged after 2 bites. We ended up tossing the whole remaining pie in the garbage. Thanks for a ruined lunch.

Best pizza in the city and really well priced as well. A perfect place to grab a bite. The flavors were really amazing on each slice. I’m going to make this a regular stop. Also, the bathrooms were very clean, but out of toilet paper. My biggest gripe would be that you could not score a salad there.

Pizza is good here. Definitely one of the most delicious options of the New York genre of pizza here in San Fransisco, though after trying 20+ different SF pizza establishments and then trying The Pizza Shop I can tell there is probably a better NY style pizza somewhere in SF I just haven’t tried yet. I do recommend giving The Pizza Shop a try. A bit of a cracker flavor to the crust .

A new go-to slice house in the mission. This is my new favorite slice house since most places don’t offer single slices anymore. Solid NY-style thin crust with not too much sauce and the right amount of cheese. Just what the doctor ordered when craving a slice and a fountain soda!

Best NY style pizza I’ve found in SF. I’m no NY pizza connoisseur, but the crust here is thin and crispy on the bottom with a nice chew. Pizza in SF (esp NY style) generally sucks, so this scratches the itch and more. Additional points bc they sell pizza by the slice.

Great pizza, reasonably priced and easygoing vibe. I always add some arugula at home (photos below)

This place sells very very good pizza. Crisp. Thin. Hot. Stretchy cheese. Well seasoned sauce. I saw the sign outside and decided to give it a try. No regrets. The service was fast and they accept phone payments. This is simply good pizza. The pizza was so good, I went back for more. There’s also a perfect health inspection score so rest assured if you’re wary about your health.
