A shame the man (I think the owner) at the service window is so miserable and rude because the pizza is decent. The first encounter with him resulted in an aggressive outburst of shouting after simply asking for a cup of water saying we had to pay for a bottle instead of just kindly saying no or they don’t serve water. Bad days are real and I wanted to give it another go and avoid him but each time I’m met with rudeness that he goes out of his way to deliver. He got our order wrong the 2nd time and god forbid you tell him there’s a mistake. The 3rd time is the tipping point and I’ll never return, he charged us double for 1 pizza after I went over the order asking if possible to replace artichokes with tomatoes on one of their pizzas.

Ever since I went to New Haven and had the original “a-beets”, I’m a convert. Will go anywhere to try and find something even close to Sally’s or Pepe’s. Pizza spot does a good job, wood not coal fired…but the char is there. The sauce is among the best I’ve had outside CT and how can you complain about the ambiance in SFla during the winter…I’m eating pizza in January with flip flops on! Recommended…. and for the authentic experience get the sauce pie…your life will never be the same. If you found this review helpful, please like it. Thx!

I really wanted to love it since it’s really close to our house and it was highly recommended but we had the worst experience, ordered 2 pizzas: one pepperoni and one plain cheese for the kids.. both tasted and looked like somebody showered the pizzas with heavy black pepper. It was inedible, we couldn’t eat it, not even the “plain” cheese one. I called them and nobody answered or called me back. I called the day after, the guy that answered was super rude so I went there and gave them their pizza back. They didn’t even apologize for ruining our dinner or even pretended to care… they said they don’t use pepper even though they had the pizza in front of them black full of it.. worst customer service ever, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

AWEFUL food and service, been to this place many times, today we visited this place today and arrived at 7pm, an hour away from closing and we were rudely welcome by a man that claimed to be the owner, that kicked us out, and said this was his Friday and he wasn’t serving us. The service on this place sadly has taken a big decline, wouldn’t spend money on this place, specially of the oner was the one that we spoke to. Save your money, Anthonys Pizza is better and down the road.
