I ate here for the first time! I had the southwest burrito and I can’t even put into words how amazing it was. The flavor!!! Omg. And I had the very berry kava drink and a strawberry boba. Both delicious!! Also the atmosphere is amazing!! The place itself is so cute! I will definitely be a regular customer!!

It can be difficult to find good vegetarian, and especially vegan, food at the Lake of the Ozarks. I’m visiting the area from the Chicago area where plant based food options are much more abundant. The Plant Base popped up in my search results so I thought I’d give it a shot.

Google calls this a vegan restaurant. It isn’t. It is a “health food” restaurant with some vegan options. Overpriced, sad sandwich – onions not caramelized, bread barely toasted, just warm enough to be called hot. Coffee was burnt. Bathroom was groddy. Don’t come here if your goal is to support a vegan restaurant – find another spot with better vegan options.

Very good food! We waited 30 minutes for our food to come out. Not sure really why, it wasn’t busy. But overall, we’re very happy to find and have this little gem in the area. We live in Camdenton, and we’ll make the drive just to eat fresh healthy food. I wish more plant base food options were available around here. Indian food option would be delicious too! 😉
