We stopped in after shopping at Freshfields Village. We are a party of 6 on vacation at Isle of Palms. The meal did not disappoint. We had the bacon burger, grouper, and nachos.

Chicken wings were excellent! The main entree and drinks weren’t the best. Food was cold and way over cooked. Rice was complete mush.

The food tastes as if it were frozen for a while and then thawed out in boiling water. Our waitress was great. The restaurant itself is nice just looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 90’s.

Food good, staff friendly but be prepared to overpay for the food and drink. Tap beer $17, Basic club sandwich $25. I realize they have a captive audience here on the golf island but 3x the cost of the mainland 3 miles away. Nope.

Don’t usually, in fact never write reviews but.. This place was bad and before you spend a crazy amount for a sub-par meal..you have been warned. Service was decent not great but food was sub-par and not even remotely worth the price. Context for you, we have been coming to Kiawah for 30+ years, tried all the places on Kiawah. This is the 1st time I felt compelled to warn people, don’t eat here. Buffalo shrimp appetizer was literally frozen Mrs. Paul’s frozen shrimp and it only got worse from there. Extremely disappointing. Alternatives for you while on Kiawah, Cherrywood Grill, Cantina 76, La Tela, King Street Grill and even Jersey Mike’s would be better.

We went here twice first time was excellent! It was just myself and the kids while my husband was golfing. We didn’t make a reservation and it was 6 pm but they were very nice and accommodating. We sat at a high top in the bar and the bartender and waitress were awesome. The second time was not so great. When the waitress finally got to our table she took our drink and food orders she came back to bring our drinks then she came out set our food on the table and walked away we didn’t see her again until we were done eating. It was a little disappointing.

The stars are for the view and service. Not at all for the food. The food….let’s just say it’s in desperate need of a rescue. Think Myrtle Beach tourist restaurant (which is why we go to Kiawah. Not Myrtle.) We came for a last minute stay in Kiawah and wanted a low key dinner. We knew the views were great and the menu matched our needs. 2 people. No alcohol. 1 appetizer. 2 entrees. $105 before tip. The chicken on my chicken gnocchi had the consistency of the chicken jerky treats I buy my dogs. I could Banh it on the table. I’m not one to send food back. But I REALLY should have. His steak was ok. We grill better ones at home. The frites (steak frites) were also overcooked. Incredibly disappointing. Especially for the price and location.

If you are expecting great food at a fair price at an elitist resort with a captive audience don’t be surprised at being disappointed. It’s very easy to spot the canned reviews. Views and service are fine but the kitchen should be burned.
