Traveling back to Gettysburg, PA this morning, we took a side trip. Nice little restaurant with very friendly staff and customers. I had biscuits and sausage gravy. Best biscuit I’ve ever eaten. Gravy was good, too. Partner had eggs, one of those awesome biscuits and grits. They were yellow stone ground. Wonderful.

Tried booking for my wedding experienced nothing but poor communication. After patiently waiting for 3 months on our quote decided to make a post on Facebook asking for recommendations for other catering options which resulted in this establishment owner and her sister in law sending private messages to us then making a negative facebook post about our situation. I find it extremely unprofessional, immature, and rude. The business owners public and childish display of insecurity in association with her business leads me to believe we made a smart choice by avoiding spending money with this establishment. If this team can’t keep their composure on a social networking app I wouldn’t trust them to handle a job on the most important day of my life.

Wonderful food and service. Pleasant atmosphere. Check out the art work on the wall. Local artist and you can purchase from him directly, Joseph Hood. Amber is a wonderful cook, plenty to choose from. If you like a good, home-cooked meal, this is your place. There were 7 of us and service was fast. I don’t think anyone ordered the same thing. Everyone was happy with the variety of choices.

Oh my goodness!!!! Delicious food! I seriously thought my mama must be in the kitchen! My husband and I both agreed this place is a hidden gem!!! The hamburger steak was perfect! The broccoli casserole and the 7 layer salad made me think of church dinners when all the ladies brought their best food to show off! My husband got ribs. I thought he was going to eat the bones he cleaned them so good. We will definitely be back!!!

Great local place, daily specials, fast service and friendly people. I got the Friday special, Loaded Brisket Fries…comes with jalapenos, homemade pimento cheese, creamy chipotle sauce and plenty of brisket on a generous portion of fries that maked for a happy tongue and a satisfied belly.
