Great staff and service! The food was all cooked and prepared to our liking. The attention to detail was very impressive. My glass stayed full and my food was served to the correct temperature and in a timely fashion. Looking forward to my next visit!

We dined at Poached Pear this week. It was our second time there. Both times the food and service were top notch. They have a great menu and really good specials. Our server Cherie was really great. She is both pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. We will look forward to our next visit!

The menu was amazing, and the food – from appetizers, to entrees, to desserts – was incredible. Delicious, beautifully presented, unique flavors and combinations. Every table was full, but the atmosphere was NOT deafening, as seems to be the norm at many eateries these days. We LOVED it and will definitely return!

Our waiter was Chere and she was the best!! Everyone was so personable and quick to respond to any request. The service was amazing!! The food was incredible!! The lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had. I ate everything on my plate which is very unusual. My husband had the Veal which was so delicious and I had the Filet Mignon which was melt in your mouth! We didn’t have room for dessert so we took it to go. We will definitely be back!!!!

On a scale of 1 to 5, this place is a 10. One of the best meals in MANY years, with superb service. It’s BYOB. We had 2 different bottles and they kept one on ice. Frequently poured our wine. But to the meal. Fresh rolls and butter was served. I had the soup on special. A chowder. It was excellent. Large serving too so I shared. We also had a perfectly prepared salad. All apps at table were excellent. I then tried the special lobster. Oh my. Very generous portion. Served over a spinach crab cake mashed potato. Well nothing left on my plate. Nothing. it was so tasty. Two at our party had tuna. I am not a tuna person but it looked excellent. The food was better then delicious, the presentation was grand. We finished with cherry vanilla ice cream. Wow. excellent. I can’t find fault in anything. The other patrons were all sophisticated well dressed looking. All of this for average price.

Both the food and service were fantastic. Our server Grace was wonderful, cheerful and attentive. My wife said the ahi tuna was the best she ever had. My crusted halibut was outstanding. A huge portion. It was a great dining experience.

We recently had dinner at the Poached Pear and overall it was very good. As a group we had the garlic, shrimp, the shrimp and octopus, and the lobster bisque as appetizers. For entrees we had the pork chop, the Ahi tuna, the veal, and the corvina special. We all thought the food was quite good and very plentiful although the corvina was a bit over sauced. The service was excellent! Fabiana was both professional and delightful! She was always at our table when needed and offered a host of great suggestions. We met her 2 sons Noah and Ben who were both working there and they did a great job. Only minor negative is that the dining rooms are quite loud. They have tried to address it with soundproofing on the ceilings and walls, but it’s still hard to hear over other diners. We hope to return soon.
