As an ardent steak enthusiast, I’ve often found steakhouses in South East Texas falling short, leading me to travel to Lake Charles or Houston for a worthy steak meal. I’d even joke with my wife about the rubbery texture of local steaks. However, a friend’s recommendation led us to try this restaurant, and I must admit, I was thoroughly impressed. The steak’s excellence lies in its quality and cooking technique, and this place nailed both. Paired with mouthwatering Au gratin potatoes and delectable bread rolls served with honey butter, our dining experience was elevated to another level. I’m eagerly looking forward to our next visit. Kudos to the team for such impeccable service!

The atmosphere was really nice. The only problem was it was to dark to read the menu. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve said 5star all the way. I will definitely say this I have eaten all over the US and this restaurant was top of the list…

We decided to make reservations at the Pompano located in Port Neches Tx to have a romantic Valentine’s dinner with my wonderful husband. We arrived around 4pm. The place is absolutely gorgeous. It’s very elegant and spacious. The tables we’re beautifully decorated with roses. We decided to sit at the bar for a while since we had arrived little early. The bar was fully stocked and the bartender was really nice and knowledge about the selection of liquor on hand. We finally decided too head to our table so we look over the special Valentine’s menu. For starters we began our meal with the Kung Fu Ribs which were absolutely delicious. For our entrees my husband ordered the 14oz Prime Ribeye with the Caesar Salad, Twice Baked Potato. I decided to try the 8oz Fresh caught Seabass, with the Wedge Salad and the twice baked potato. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. Great night, great good. If you’re in the area check out Pompano restaurant in Port Neches Texas. You wont be disappointed.

My husband and I was invited to a party at Pompano’s on Saturday February 11, 2023. The service was awful. We were in the private dining room with guests of 15 to 20 people. Most couples did place orders, but the waitress did NOT take the order of about about 6 people. We told her she skipped several people orders, she did come back and took those people’s orders. She finally brought out our meal. After taking a bite of my food which was horrible, after sitting there realizing she did not ask anyone for drink order. We got bo tea, soft drinks… I got crab cake which was awful, my husband ordered chicken fried steak with mash potatoes that to was not good. I hope no one else have the experience we had at Pompano’s

My husband and I had reservations for our anniversary. We were promptly seated. The ambience was perfect with nice lighting, decor and light background music. Warm bread basket and salads were good and dinner was great. I believe mine was the seabass with coconut shrimp. . My husband had a steak. It was a little more than we spend for a regular night out, but this was an anniversary dinner, so it was okay for a special occasion. I will say…I expected more out of the bathrooms. It didn’t seem to go with the rest of the restaurant. It was very bland and boring. My husband even commented how average the men’s room was. I’m not rating anything regarding the restrooms, but rather offering a suggestion. Get rid of the sheet mirrors and replace with nice statement mirrors. The rugs need to go. Looking forward to returning.

The Pompano is a great restaurant for date night or a girls night out. The real show stopper is the Kung Fu Ribs! Sit at the bar and have the best drinks made by Corby!
