The Ponds Restaurant, is a Beautiful new eatery, located in the heart of the Catskills. Featuring a fresh farm-to-table seasonal menu, its own brew pub, other locally brewed favorites, as well as regional wines and spirits. Our foods incorporate our fresh spin on many of our classic favorites. Showcasing pizza, wings, burgers, tacos, homemade hand-pulled pastas, and much more!
The Ponds resides in our gorgeous 2500 square foot fully finished, (heated and air conditioned) Amish barn. Eat inside in our spacious dining room or out on the deck and enjoy the layers of beauty from the bloom of the Natural Gardens, and relaxing sounds of the multiple fresh spring fed ponds.
The Bar will stay open late until 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday nights

We had a wonderful meal tonight the 4 of us had the My Chick, Hot Sweet Momma, tacos and the Special Salad with beets and blueberries. Everything was great, service was great. I have been wanting to get here for 3 years and finally it worked tonight. Will be going back with other family and friends for sure.

We were there Friday night and we were having a great time till we had a complaint about some of our food and the owner came to our table and was beyond rude and totally unprofessional accusing us of making a waitress cry which was ridiculous because we were laughing and joking with them. Then after being rude to my daughter she removed herself from the scene and I told him he was full of it that no one at are table of 13 did anything to upset his staff. I complemented him on most of our meals that were good and told him he needed to apologize to my daughter. He took the bad meals of the bill but after looking at the Bill only one meal was removed and the free dessert he gave my daughter was terrible we tipped the waitress well but we won’t be back needless to say. The owner will be the down fall of his business and on a side note another family that was leaving had the same bad experience as we had and they also won’t be returning. The waitress who overheard him accusing us of making her cry said she never told him that and she was sorry he claimed he gave us free food not the case at all. Best of luck to his employees.

I’ve tried to keep quiet about mine and my family’s awful experience at this restaurant, but they have begun to personally attack friends on social media and I cannot let the behavior stand without sharing our experience. My family and I ate at this restaurant after a graduation because we wanted to try somewhere new. The poor waitress was so stressed out and seemed like she was being screamed at by the kitchen for making a “special” request for my mother in law. Apparently getting fettuccine in tomato sauce takes over an hour. Clearly the food is “fresh” and doesn’t sit there in one pot all day. Instead of blaming the kitchen staff that was likely responsible for causing the waitress distress, the owner decided to come out and accuse our table and a nearby table of causing the waitress to cry. This wwas after the waitress had offered to pay for half of our meal out of her own pocket because the owner was too cheap to compensate us for our time. Overall, the food was tasteless and the owner had no tact (and appeared to be drunk) but the waitress was lovely. She did her best to accommodate us and we made sure she knew how much we appreciated her. I do not recommend this restaurant until the ownership changes.

The food was delicious and freshly prepared. I had the fettuccine with broccoli, mushrooms, and chicken in basil cream sauce. The portion was huge. The salad was bright and crisp. The only downside is that the menu had limited choices.
