This place has great service in terms of nice staff, good feels but the food is very bland. The chicken sandwiches had maybe only salt and drenched in sauce which did not help with flavoring.The best thing I had there where the beignets and my drink. The live music was nice for a bit however it was too loud so very hard to have conversations.Would I come back no but if you need a place for good drinks and dessert why not.

God’s Good Grief
I had been seeing posters of this place everywhere. We went on a Thursday night to celebrate my brother’s birthday. The fried okra was a tasty appetizer. I got the only vegan dish on the menu, Smoked jackfruit that came with 2 sides. I choose the honey biscuit and mac n cheese, It was a delicious Very accessible place, short walk from Wellington station, lots of parking. The band was awesome! Great food, atmosphere and people

This is my favorite place when I’m craving Nashville Hot Chicken. The portions are generous and the plate comes with two sides. There is parking in the garage with limited street parking. Service can be a little slow. There’s a stage for live music that adds to a fun atmosphere.

Food was good, not great, not bad, but good. My catfish sandwich and mac and cheese were pretty good. The hot fried chicken was ok, not bad, just that I’ve had better, it was a little dry. The ribs and brisket were also dry, they both needed bbq sauce to eat. People like their meats differently but I like eating them without being smothered in sauce. So that’s a personal preference I guess. The collard greens were too seasoned, the potato salad was really good, the cole slaw was strange, not bad, just strange, and the grits were also pretty good. The PBR draft pours were $2 a pint and tasted great! So overall, a pretty good experience.

My partner and I went for dinner on a Friday night and had a great experience. I had the brisket sandwich on a DELICIOUS gluten-free bun. My partner had the combo platter with ribs and brisket. He’s a picky southerner and said this is some of the best BBQ he’s had in Boston (and promptly drenched his plate in the North Cackalacky sauce). Also, someone definitely called their grandma for her potato salad recipe and she actually gave them the real one. I loved that there were both several mezcal drinks on the menu AND a dedicated spirit free cocktail list. The band was great and I was grooving in my seat the whole meal. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve had two great meals, one in the restaurant and one delivered. Both were exceptional. The tofu entree was GREAT. What a surprise for a BBQ joint. The ribs were enjoyed by our party, and there was more than enough for two people. We’ll be back!

Wow, so good. I can’t believe we waited so long to come here. This is a beautiful space. The band was great. But the chef…he is not playing. Everything was so good. Great options for vegetarians and pescatarians, too. Smoked oysters were to die for. I’ll need those when we come back.
