Port of Peri Peri has the best Halal Chicken in the area! One of the best halal restaurants in Chicago. Highly recommended if you are in the area. The chicken are tender and have the best flavor. The owner generously donated multiple trays of chicken for a fundraiser to help support a High School Muslim club. He was really sweet and understanding, and worked very hard to provide the best service and quality of food. The food was delicious and loved by the community. Everyone praised the food quality and the flavors! Highly recommend it!

The chicken was undercooked and the staff rolled their eyes and were very rude when we asked them to recook it. We ordered the mild and extra hot chicken and both tasted the same, they told us it’s the same sauce for both…then why are there different spice levels? The staff were very rude when we asked for more sauce after being given an empty bottle of hot sauce and said we can’t have anymore.

First time ordering. Picked up 2 orders of chicken and rice bowl and 2 large sides of perimayo corn. Food was tasty, however, both meals only had 3 pieces of chicken when they were supposed to have 4. Way over priced, in my opinion, for rice, corn and a little chicken for $41.
