Food was amazing. The chicken was cooked perfectly. So were the casava fries. The staff went above and beyond by making some plain fries for the toddler we had who wouldn’t eat the casava fries. The 1/4 leg was great the sauce is heavenly. Wish they had a wash area cus your hands get messy eating that greasy food. Also not enough seating capacity. No child benches either. Lots of parking. Definitely recommended.

Great food. The guy working there was nice. Had to wait an extra 15 mins, which by desi standards is no big deal. large fries were more like small fries. Place is too small and they didn’t pack enough white sauce, which is the most important part of their meal.

Eating out gets boring with little choice around the area. But Juicy chicken in Porto’s makes me keep coming back again and again. Me and my family love the chicken here with the medium sauce on it. Nice ambiance and the food is yum and delicious with juicy, tender chicken hot out of the grill, with a finishing touch with the cheese cake, makes us come back here often. My kids want to keep coming back. Place for one of the best Portuguese food.

This chain is new to Schaumburg & the food is delicious. They offer grilled chicken, without the skin, which is more nutritious than deep fried or breaded chicken with the skin intact. So far, from my last two visits, I enjoyed the wings and chicken platters with different varieties of sauce. The couscous salad & quinoa salad are subpar. Both salads were served on top of cold mixed greens topped off with an even colder scoop of couscous or quinoa (Possibly due to untrained employees). Service depends on who is working. At my last visit, it took more than 20 minutes to get our entire order. Looking past the sticky floors, uncleaned tables, clogged air vents, and untrained employees, the food is delicious and deserves 5 stars. We ordered large peri peri fries and they gave us what looked like small fries. I called to complain about the amount of fries we received. And the person I spoke to, instead of apologizing, she tried to justify the amount of fries by saying “other locations don’t measure their fries, but we measure ours by ounces”. That was her reasoning! But they expect us to pay that price to get these little fries. Horrible customer service for a location that just opened.

Delicious tender chicken with awesome tingling tasty sauce to compliment the chicken. Plan your visit in non busy hours to enjoy the food. I been searching for Nando’s peri peri since 3yrs in USA, which is also halal but couldn’t find any however after coming to Porto’s my search ends as it’s got the same texture and flavor as Nando’s. French fries are a must with peri peri salt on it. Enjoy your food 🙂
