A Clarified Woman
My friend happened to need an overnight in Phoenix due to a cancelation in her flight. I picked her up from the airport and she booked a night at the Hilton Garden Inn. We plugged in a restaurant she knew that showed as nearby only to find that one was inside the airport. Now it’s 9pm and most places were closing. Googled again and found a listing for “The Post” that closed at 11p. Hilariously, it was located where? Inside the Hilton which we didn’t realize until pulling back into the parking lot.

Small varied menu at this restaurant in the Crowne Plaza Inn. Small seating but cordial atmosphere. Service was excellent. 8 oz Steak came with mashed potatoes and asparagus.

For menu was limited, we had the chicken Cascadia’s and the half pound burger with fries. Fries were fabulous as was the burger . My better half said the Cascadia’s were real good too.

Food was good, but they were busy and service was pretty slow. I sat myself and it was over 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. Took about an hour total for me to have a glass of water and a sandwich. But the food was decent and server was nice, just busy.

We had a surprisingly delicious meal here. In my experience most, not all (!), hotel restaurants are over priced and serve heavy, tasteless food. The Post is neither! We shared the flatbread which was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed a tasty veggie burger for main. Service was great too. Highly recommend.
