Food was excellent. Service very good. Only downside is they don’t bring you a bill. You go to the register and tell them what you had. The bill came out a quite a bit higher than menu prices, but overall very good. We just paid our bill and left as we were traveling a long way that day.

I placed a pick up order. 15 minutes for Nachos. OK!! No problem. Waited 20 minutes. Went in. Waited another 15 minutes. The Nachos were not good. I will leave it at that. I can only say that the hostess/waitress/everything else was pleasant to deal with.

As a southern man you can take my word when I tell you that you won’t find down home comfort food anywhere in Kansas like you will here at the post. If it’s on the menu I highly recommend it. And the owner James made me feel like I was part of the local guys. He’s a good man and a master of his craft. If your asking yourself if you should come in take this as your sign to try it out. You won’t regret it.

We stopped in From vacation. There are not very many options for a long time in the area. The outside was inviting with the helicopter out front. They had prime rib and ri. No for the specials. We chose to split the prime rib. I thought it looked like a ribeye with prime seasoning . Another special was the cheesy vegetable. I’m sure they took canned broccoli cheese soup and added carrots, cauliflower and zucchini, but it was my favorite of the meal. I left the sweet potato fries uneaten. They were limp and soggy. The hubs mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty. I wish I had gotten those instead. The margarita was perfect and as well, the California Bull cocktail. Nicole was our waitress and she was very attentive to our needs

Found this whole passing through Burlington. This is just plain home cooking. Clean, cooked to order and reasonably fast. The pork tenderloin was ample and tender, served with fresh cut fries.

A huge helicopter at the front can’t miss it! The servers where nice and took time to explain their menu. The food was superb!!! Very clean as well.

Stopped by because of the reviews on our road trip. Hole in the wall place in a small town. Waited an hour for food when several other tables came in, ordered, ate and left before we even got our food. Waited over 30 minutes for a refill and never checked on once. Once we got the food, the bread was so soggy like the food had been sitting on it, other food burnt. Probably the worst place we’ve eaten at on our two week road trip.

Small, older building, but very clean. The staff was very friendly. We stopped in for breakfast on our way to Denver and I ordered the huevos rancheros. They were delicious!! Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time!! Will definitely stop here again if we’re in the area!
