Walked in, almost right back out. Not a welcoming environment. Sat in the back by the kitchen. I had 3 of my young daughters and wife with me. We noticed the lady working in the kitchen was in a bad mood. Constant bickering. We ordered food and when the bartender put our order in I heard “welcome to chuck e cheese!” sarcastically from the kitchen. Almost paid for my drinks and walked out at this point but my wife said no so, we stayed. Lady in the kitchen was obnoxiously singing and whistling like she was angry. Periodically she would walk by and go to another room to get supplies. Wouldn’t make eye contact or anything as she stomped by. Food came out and everything was fantastic. I’ll probably never come here again because of that cook but if you don’t have kids with you it’ll probably be a positive experience. The bartender/server with the redish hair was phenomenal and attentive. Give him a raise and get rid of the child hater.

Walked in, waited 10 minutes at a table while being oggled at from behind the bar and then walked right back out.

Best bar pizza around hands down. Drinks are good. Prices are fair. Friendly staff.

It’s a typical bar. Don’t go here for craft beers or tap or a fancy cocktail. No, you go here for a right and ready blue-collar, Midwest gun-slinging, 2pm-regulars bottled beer like PBR or Corona Extra. Expect folks to be playing darts and that the annoying gaming machines in the corner will keep up a steady trill of addictive delight. And while you are sitting there with your pal Arthur, enjoying your proletariat ales, don’t forget to tip your bartender. It’s a decent human action in small-town America (and trust me, when you’re in this establishment, you forget that you’re in Peoria, with the plaid shirts and grunge white-man overalls and homey atmosphere of a non-polished woodtop bar).

When I stopped in I didn’t get food and I have not eaten here in years. The place was packed, however the staff did a great job of keeping up with drink orders. Lots of TVs so a great place to watch sports.

The grill was closed for lunch, unfortunately. The drinks were good and the bartender provided good conversation.

My favorite little bar! Conveniently right across the street from my house 🙂 Darts, slots, golfing game, and always playing sports on the TV’s. Love it!

I was blown away by how good the food is here. The burgers in particular are delicious. The beer was cold and tasted fresh and the atmosphere is very laid back. My tab was only $24 and I left with a full belly and very intoxicated. Honestly, I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Love it there! It seriously is a bar for everyone!!! On any given Saturday night you’ll find the old time regulars on one end of the bar laughing but enjoying the the 21st birthday party that stumbled in. The young regulars who call the bar their “second home” and that grouchy old lady who just yells at the slots…The Pour House needs just one more thing…an AWESOME STAFF…and they have it! It’s seriously a great bar, good staff, awesome food, good drinks that equal a good time! I’m not impressed easily and it took about 10 visits for me to give into this five star review. Cheers!
