While the sandwichs we’re ok(a Sicilian and a turkey Reuben) it took 45 minutes to get them. There were only 2 other tables when we got there so it wasn’t crowded. Guess you shouldn’t go to a bar to get lunch even if it does have good ratings. (It must be for the alcohol because food and service was bleh)

So unlike the name it’s not really a poor house or a house that looks poor. It’s just really good down home cooking big portions inexpensive made by hand fresh. When it comes to pancakes and chicken tenders and steak fries and salads you’re the best. There’s a big shout out to Shawnee back in the back who stayed working while everyone else quit around her. And the owners well there’s not much I can say about him that everybody doesn’t already know. Just remember you got a skull back and it comes in there all the time now you’re welcome. Face it promotions approved

Overpriced and under delivered. Ordered a Sicilian sandwich for $9.95. It had a very small chicken breast, no marinara sauce and nothing on the side except for pickle slices. (No complaints on the pickle.) The bread was dry and fell apart in my hands. The side order of Onion rings was another $8 (and they were overcooked).
