The food here is excellent. It is true southern with class and quality, no cheap corners anyways. Cornbread with peach purée butter, fried green tomatoes with tomato jam, the most tender braised beef, and a perfectly portioned banana pudding cheesecake. The views at this restaurant are also amazing, you are over looking a river. Brooke is an amazing bartender as well and will make you feel like family.

Wonderful view of the river! Nice comfortable atmosphere. The staff was so pleasant. This was our first time visiting. We chose The Pump House because we had a couple in our Attractions Dining and Value Guide. The fried green tomatoes were highly recommended by a couple sitting nearby. However, since my friend doesn’t eat them, we opted for fried okra and crab cakes. The okra was okay once we added a little salt. I didn’t like them with the dip but my friend did. Neither of us were a fan of the crab cakes. The texture was off. We figured they would be lumpy. Instead, they were more mushy. I had Seared Salmon with succotash for my meal. DELICIOUS!! The salmon was seasoned and cooked beautifully and the succotash was a perfect accompaniment. My friend had pork chop with mashed potatoes. She really enjoyed them both. If I had to criticize anything it would be not receiving refills in a timely fashion. My glass was empty twice. Our server also entered the wrong appetizer and we had to wait a little longer for it. It wasn’t a big deal because they were really good about correcting it. It is a bit pricey for what you get. However, I think it’s definitely worth trying at least once.

Came here for lunch Friday and got here right at 12:00. The restaurant was less than 50% filled at that time because it was quite warm and nobody really wanted to sit out on the deck.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Pump House Restaurant in Rock Hill, SC, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was captivating – a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel like a valued guest.

Beautiful views and great service. I experienced the Pump House during their Mother’s Day Brunch. For the 3 course menu I had the Carolina Greens, lobster omelette and salted caramel chocolate torte. The salad was great but the omelette was terrible. The eggs were dry and overcooked. The lobster had no flavor. I’m not a picky eater at all, but I couldn’t stomach it. Judging by the dark color, the potatoes should have been crispy on the outside but were likely sitting for a long time and were soggy and bland. The dessert was very sweet (store bought frosting vibes) and lacked overall quality. The fried tomatoes were outstanding! The steak and eggs were pretty good. The service was excellent. Despite the other entree issues, I would return to give it another chance during a regular day. You can’t beat the location!

I’ve been wanting to go to the Pump House for a long. I was disappointed. Service was so so even though there was not a lot of people there Service was slow. The shrimp and grits was to salty. Our other meals were just warm. I will have to say the calamari was very good. I like to give a place a second chance, but I don’t think I will revisit here.

Enjoyed brunch here on Sunday. Our server, Raven, was very attentive and the service was great. The French toast was really good. And can’t beat the bottomless mimosa option for $16. The white cranberry flavor was tasty. Thought the rooftop bar would be open air but it’s enclosed. Still a nice view on the river. Look forward to coming back and trying dinner sometime.

What a neat place! We reserved a table for brunch online, super easy, same day. Great atmosphere, sits on the catawba river. We sat on the top floor (5), with a rooftop bar, beautiful. Drinks we had were the Fig Mule & a coffee with a shot of bailey’s, delicious! We were greeted with daily muffins, apparently different every day, blueberry was today yum! I had the Bacon Benedict, my mate is allergic to eggs so she has the roasted beet salad with grilled shrimp! So delicious for both! Really enjoyed and so happy she had a lot of menu options to choose from aside from eggs. Ended the brunch with a FABULOUS ESPRESSO MARTINI!

Everything was good food wise. Great prices for brunch. Got the chicken and waffles BC they looked so good in the advertisement on social media but kind of dry had to ask for more normal syrup because the sauce on it tasted like sweet sriracha from Chick-fil-A but perfect when you ask for regular syrup to add to it. The bacon side to share was just normal slices of bacon. Crab cake appetizer was a lot of filler no chunks of crab which was weird for a classier high end place. Burger was good and juicy and fresh cut fries were crunchy but soft in the middle. $16 bottomless pineapple mimosas were terrific. No beers in draft as their entire draft system was down so boyfriend just ordered bottled. View was amazing and we were reverb able to see the turtles swimming in the water below as well as the tubers. Blueberry muffins were so good you didn’t even need the butter but it was peach butter and excellent! Service was excellent…and I’d sheets excellent when we go! Our waitress this time was just such a sweet heart! We will be back as we enjoy going here for the atmosphere and drinks!
