The Purple Pit Coffee Lounge and Jazz Club is a unique experience located in downtown Bristol, NH. Many coffee options available including espresso drinks of all kinds! We serve fruit smoothies and Giffords Premium Ice Cream in our ice cream parlor, Moo-ka-licious. We have a variety of breakfast sandwiches (eggs are actually cooked in a pan!), and lunch options including panini sandwiches, cold sandwiches, and salads. The Purple Pit Jazz Club, located in the back lounge of the cafe, is a step into the past with the old New York jazz club feel. We feature all genres of jazz with groups spanning from Florida to Montreal. During the performance, enjoy our selection of beer and wine, as well as our full menu and coffee options! Stop in soon!!

My favorite breakfast spot in downtown Bristol. It’s cute and cozy and the staff is so welcoming. Even when they are extremely busy, the service is fast and consistent. The food is always very good. They have a wonderful coffee selection too.

This is a nice place to enjoy a nice breakfast and some coffee. The staff and friendly and hard working to give you quality service and products. They also have a jazz lounge here but I was not able to be there for their music but if it’s like their coffe and breakfast it’s a winner!

I’ve stopped in a few times now for a latte. I like the atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and their service has been great. They also have an area where they sell items by local crafters. I haven’t really tried the food yet but they seem to have a steady flow of business. If you’re looking for a good cup of coffee, and a relaxing place to enjoy it, then give The Purple Pit a try!

Cute little eatery in the downtown but out of the way- menu had many options. Coffee was great, and the ham, egg, and cheese croissant sammies were just what I needed to start my day, Yum!!! . Struck up great convo with chef while waiting for our food. Will be back, its got a great vibe in there!

I dropped in for a coffee and bagel a while back. My peanut butter bagel came with real butter instead. When I brought it back to the counter I was treated rudely and accused of having an allergy and not telling them. I’m vegan and I don’t eat butter. That is not an allergy. If they mess up your meal/coffee here, letting them know is a poor option. I’m sure this review will promote a negative response from the owner too. If that’s the case I will never return to this establishment.

Cozy, cute café located in downtown bristol, with great food, friendly staff and a quiet inviting atmosphere where you can sit and relax in the sunlight coming in the big picture windows or open your laptop and get some work done.
