I love locally owned restaurants that deliver excellent food, especially when it is lovated in a renovated, historic space. This one checks all the boxes. We came for the small plates, and they were all very well conceived and executed. Our server was friendly, made helpful recommendations, and made us feel at home. Wonderful!

Visited on a Thursday afternoon and was able to get a seat even though we didn’t have a reservation. Pleasant atmosphere and great food! Small plates were half off for happy hour! Enjoyed sticky shrimp, pork belly with chow chow and low country mac and cheese with lobster and shrimp! So good! Highly recommend!

Our first time here, and dinner was fantastic. We tried multiple small plates, dinner, drinks, and dessert – everything we tried we loved. Our waiter was Scott who was wonderful, very attentive but also gave us time and space to enjoy all the food. Absolutely superb meal, we will be back again and again!!

This place was an excellent choice. We had 5 small plates amd they were all delicious! The pork belly was cooked to perfection, the calamari was very tender and very lean… delicious! Gouda sausage balls were moist and delicious and very tender, the shrimp was slightly spicy and extremely good!!!…. the cheese surds were also great not the best on the table but def worth ordering. The way they paired the foods to sauces is excellent but we found all the dauces good on everything. We look very fwd to our next experience there. The waiter we had was hands down the best waiter I have had since the pandemic started so a huge shout out to Anthony!!!

We loved our visit to The Putnam Room. The food was absolutely amazing. The caper aioli with the crab cakes wax delicious. The Low Country Mac & Cheese on the small plates menu was more than enough as my entree and it was an excellent dinner as I am a seafood and mac & cheese lover. Our server TJ was excellent in helping us choose our entrees and was very attentive. We will make a point to come back even though we’re quite a ways from home.
