This was my 1st time at this business. As a person can see from the stars, I am very impressed with the food and will be returning. I ordered the pick 4 so I could decide using a variety of meats. I had ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and brisket. I also purchased coleslaw…. loved it ! Business open for take out with just a couple tables. I’d highly suggest you stop and vice driving by like I have since they opened.

The guy running this place confuses me. His rules about which sides to get in order to create a platter so that you get a drink and a pickle spear is complicated, to say the least. However, in my opinion, the food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. I’ll continue to eat here.

Ordered thru door dash, food came cool to the touch, smelled like dog food and was super dry. I hate to say this but the most edible thing in here was the pickle spear. Ps. I ordered the pulled pork platter

This place isn’t exactly fancy, but the food is 100% made with love in a slow cook smoker as true BBQ should be, I recommend the brisket and cole slaw. 3 kinds of homemade BBQ sauce for different tastes, nothing too spicy. Definitely see this 1 man operation, true BBQ fans will not be disappointed.

Traveled out to Shelby Q today. Met Mike the owner, who was super engaging. We discussed all the different food options that are available. He had pulled brisket, pork, and chicken at the time. Ribs weren’t available at the time, they were on the smoker. He has a large amount of sides. Pork and beans, green beans, corn casserole, mashed potatoes, potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw and potato chips. Ordered the 3 meat sampler. Brisket, pulled pork and chicken. All meats tasted okay but were a little dry. As for the sides. I had the baked beans, they had a little pork in them but not super flavorful. The potato salad was a mustard based salad which was quite flavorful. The mac n cheese was mixed with some barbeque sauce which gave it a different taste, not bad at all. I also ordered the corn casserole which also had barbeque sauce in it. Probably the best side to me. Mike as a number of sauces too go with his meats. He has sweet, smokey, pineapple and spicey. Mike has had the business for 2 years, he also does catering. If you have a chance, stop in and check things out.

Stopped by for the first time to try the place out. I let the guy know that, and asked for a 3 meat sampler package they had on the menu. He said they were out of brisket, so couldn’t do that. I asked what meats they had, and he rattled off four of them. I again mentioned I’d like to try a variety, and asked about three of those meats in the sampler package. He said no, I would have to buy different sandwiches if I wanted to try different meats. I wanted to like the place, but they made it too much work with other good options around.
