On a trip to Sterling Hill Mines with the family, and had some time before our tour. So, we went out looking for food — and got lucky enough to find The Quarry Grill. It was delicious, the food came out quick, our order was right, and everyone was super-nice. If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely stop by. The Dirty Burger was especially tasty!

Second time going here. Tried the Dirty Burger this time, which is topped with Taylor ham jam. Definitely makes for an interesting and tasty burger. Burgers and fries came out steaming hot again. Only complaint is the soda fountain which only has RC cola and Sea Breeze sodas.

We got the Dirty Burger, custom hot dog, fries and tots – take out. Food was ready as expected, staff was very nice, place looked real clean. Order was correct and the food tasted great! Smash burgers are delicious, glad we have someone doing this style in the area now. Only critique would be packaging on the fries, they are this steak fries and they were kind of soggy, but a quick toss in the toaster oven brought them back to life! Would definitely recommend!

After seeing friends friends posts about this place, my husband and I discussed as we went out of area this morning that we would stop at The Quarry Grill on our way home. We did take out. We could see them making everything fresh and our wait was not long at all. Prices are very reasonable. Sorry no food pics, we ate and then I remembered to post. It was delicious. We had a Dirty Burger, Crispy Pig, Smash Burger and onion rings.

I was so happy to find this place as we were looking for a quick “snack” for the road on our way back from mountain creek today. This place delivered all that and more. The Sussex smash was everything I wanted it to be: simple, freshly made, and delicious. Big fan of the flat fries and a plus that red birch beer was an option for soda. We will definitely stop by again when we are in the area – which is pretty often. Thank you!

Amazing place! The atmosphere, the owners, the concept, and most importantly amazing product. If he was closer to Passaic county, he would blow away all the existing competition like Hot Grill. My favorite so far is that white dill looking sauce with the amazing onion rings and homemade fries and that Taylor ham jelly on the hot dog. And what a delicious dog it was. I am usually a burger guy but the hot dog won me over. Wow!! I wish this place all the success in the world. I work in Passaic county and live in Sussex and am so happy the best hot dogs and burgers are now in my backyard. My daughter and I will definitely be repeat customers.

I’m not a fan of the smashed burger personally but they are good. Fries are awesome, hot dogs are exactly how they should be, delicious. Most customers were getting special sauces and more interesting fare. This place is excellent and spotless
