First time for me eating here. Our waitress Melanie was fantastic. She had a great smile and was very pleasant. She was not only serving us but she was also bartending. But she was killing it. The food was good. I had the Ramp Burger and the Sauerkraut Balls. I will say the Sauerkraut Balls would probably taste better with thousand island dressing instead of spicy mustard. But that’s just me. The prices I think are a tad high. $16 for a burger mostly lettuce and onion…I don’t know but the presentation was good! Definitely worth a revisit.

Definitely a great place for a nice, formal night out. The food is amazing, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is to die for, especially if you sit out on balcony so you can eat and enjoy the beautiful lake. We went when it was a little cold out and they had the patio area heated which was awesome! And to my surprise there was even live entertainment out there too! Definitely going back for our next date night 🙂

I have worked in the resturant industry for the past 10 years. Never have I seen worse service. 30 min for waters and another 30 min for drinks. The apps were good and the drinks were fantastic. Over half of our entrees came out incorrect. I ordered the scalop dinner and one of the scalops looked like half had been taken out. After not eating one bite of our incorrect entrees, and asking the manager about changing to our correct entrees, she said it was impossible and we needed to pay for everything. The manager called the police. Never have I seen anything like this. Will not return.

Great food right on the lake! My wife enjoyed the Ramp Burger while I treated myself to the Salmon with garlic butter and mushroom risotto. Some of the best I’ve ever had! We watched the boats on the water while we enjoyed a beautiful day. A great “date night” destination! Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

I wanted to like this place so bad but it let me down big time. Great view of the lake , nice covered patio. Very slow service , ordered simple food- a chicken wrap and onion rings and it was all over cooked /burnt. Way over priced for the quality.

Absolute horrible experience! Waited over 10 minutes at front door before a hostess sat us. And they were not even that busy. Then we finally got sat only to sit there for another 10 to 15 minutes, to have no one come up and greet us again. Get up to leave and the server for our Section says have a Good Night. Knowing that we have not even been waited on yet. Ten out of ten would not recommend this place!

This place is the worst on Portage Lakes. We keep trying to give it a chance but will never again. Rudest people who own it and work there. Waitress called me stupid. We walked out and will never return again. Owner, Zaina, was so aloof and should not own a restaurant. Wine is expensive and they serve it in a small plastic cup.

The location on the lake is the only thing this place has going for it. All the food looks and tastes like it was frozen out of a box. Bad attitudes amongst the staff and management. Don’t waste your time or money. There are far better places to enjoy a nice meal in a welcoming environment…..it’s not the Ramp.
