My husband and I went there for the first time last night for his birthday. We absolutely LOVED our steaks, they tasted delicious! My husband is a good cook, and I often don’t find someone who cooks steaks better than he does, but we both agreed they were a 10 on a scale of a 1 to 10. We also very much enjoyed our baked potatoes, they were delicious! We enjoyed the loaf of bread that was brought to us, and very much enjoyed our appetizer too, the fried green tomatoes with the jack cheese, pimento cheese, and secret sauce on the side. I loved the fried green tomatoes just like they were, but my husband really loved their secret sauce and he liked the pimento cheese as well. I’m not a pimento cheese lover, so that was OK for me, but their fried green tomatoes were very, very good. Additionally, we got their fudge brownie with ice cream as a complementary birthday dessert and we’re not even chocolate lovers, and would give that a ten (10) also. We usually enjoy bread pudding, but the chocolate dessert was so good, we embraced that and took the bread pudding home. I wasn’t too crazy about their salad, but my husband said there’s more there than meets the eye. They do make their dressings from scratch from my understanding and he said his thousand island was spot on.

A hidden gem for sure. Not only was the food amazing, you must try the fried pickle okra! Our waitress, Faith was phenomenal! She made our experience even sweeter! If I could give 10 stars, I would. We live 2.5hrs away and already making plans to visit again in the fall.

OMG. Every single thing that we had was absolutely fantastic and so delicious! Come here for sure they are so friendly too. The location is beautiful too. It’s definitely worth the drive. The salad was so fresh and my chicken strips were so crunchy and perfect. All of it was perfect! Plus the place is super clean.

This literal house turned restaurant is a gem in the “Talimichi” area. The food was first-rate as I had a House salad, baked potato & chicken fried chicken. The atmosphere is laid back, country, and relaxing. If you like “home cooking” in an Okie environment, then this place is for you!

Really wonderful restaurant! Everything we ordered tasted great! There was fresh loaves of bread served with whipped butter as we ordered and waited. Our server was really sweet. Quick and friendly service! They had high chairs and booster seats to accommodate our children. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. The parking lot was close to the restaurant and gravel. They have a screened in patio area to eat and a deck out back over looking the river. Would highly recommend!!

We were in town visiting family and found this restaurant on google. It was very good!!!! We thought the steaks had a little too much seasoning due to it being such a good cut of meat and cooked to perfect temperature. You can’t please everyone though and we understand some people prefer it that way. They also had cold beer!!!

This place is great of you can find it. It’s way out in the country and that makes it that much better. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and the waitress and food were amazing. Try the catfish. We were thanked as we left and felt like our business was appreciated.

I have eaten here a couple of times, as someone who has Celiac and other food sensitivites they were very accomodating and cautious of any cross contamination, the food was DECADENT, the service was EXCELLENT and the atmosphere was SPECTACULAR with AMAZING views of the BEAUTIFUL Kiamichi River. You don’t want to miss this experience of southern hospitality and GREAT food!!!
