Fresh fish, nice presentation, cozy space, and excellent service. I enjoyed my food, although I didn’t like the sauce for the chili Philadelphia roll, everything else I ordered was pretty tasty. Both chefs were great at the bar, and I definitely go back!

On this cold winter evening, the Rawbar Restaurant provided a wonderful respite from the cold and the sea of carbohydrates saturating the downtown area.

My review is only based on sushi rolls as that’s all I’ve had. Rolls were small, cold, and limited flavor. But pretty presentation. Also, had the beer brined wings, they were pretty good.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been turned away from a half empty restaurant because apparently they have “no available tables.” Even when I call ahead to make a reservation, I am told that they have no available tables. When I took an early seating and sat through the dinner hours, the restaurant remained half empty even though I was told they were fully booked.

The biggest problem with this place is the portion size. One roll is only like 4 or 5 pieces. The kitchen was also super super slow. Our two rolls took us like 30 or 40 mins to get and then we saw the portion size and had to wait another 30 mins for more tiny portions. Atmosphere is nice just crowded and the sushi was decent.

Half rolls, full price. Not a good value.

Very good food! Had a reservation and was told we would be seated outside but didn’t realize we would be seated right in the doorway that connects the inside to the outside. Friendly servers but nothing really stood out to me except the bus boys, they were killing it with a smile!

Everything is sooo fresh. The rolls are unique in the most amazing way. My husband had the Beef noodle dish and was quite happy, albeit a tad too much salt, only for his taste. However, he will order it again.

Best quail egg shooters and oyster shooters in town! Amazing staff every time we are in there. Great happy hour menu with great prices. Even after happy hour it’s a great bang for your buck. The crusty roll is outstanding! Daily specials even sushi cooking classes! Sit at the bar and watch these pros make mouthwatering plates. The knife skills on these guys! TIP YOUR SUSHI MAKER!

Truly loved it, however some dishes have sriracha hot sauce on it? In my opinion not necessary since it is too much of a dominating flavor taking away from the delicate sushi. Otherwise great place.
