My boyfriend and I ate here on one of our date nights. We called in our order because we were running a little late, and it was ready within 5 minutes of us getting there and being seated. The food was wonderful! The only issue I had was that the pork tenderloin was a little tough. It was still really good though. Our server was very nice and checked on us often. They had live music upstairs in the bar, so we ended up staying a lot longer than we’d planned. We had a great time though!

We went kinda early on a Saturday Night and it was fine. Service was great, food looked good…… but by the time it came out, it was cold. The hottest thing on the plate was the foil-wrapped baked potato.

Very Very disappointed. Our waitress was great, but food was not. Fried oysters were terrible -over cooked -tasted bad. Fried shrimp were way overcooked and cold. Salad, baked potato and cold beer are hard to mess up. It was our anniversary and we drove an hour for a special night out. Probably won’t be back.

I’ve been coming to Demopolis for 20 plus years but never ate here until recently. I was missing out. Inside decor is exactly what you’d expect if you were served dinner in a barn. Great food and the staff was friendly, as well as, patient. My steak was great and cooked correctly. I’ll definitely will be returning to try the seafood next time.
