Busboys are the hardest workers. Out of the two items I wanted. Banana pancakes don’t have bananas in the mix just as a topping and they were cold. Older waitress we only saw when she took our order and never came back. Girl who offered coffee took my butter without asking. Skip this place and go to Heidi’s or black bear for better food and definitely better service

Went for breakfast, MEH, mixed reviews. I had French toast, which was pretty good.. Biscuits and gravy had way too much pepper couldn’t even eat it. My coworker said the hashbrowns and eggs were basic. She ordered a medium rare steak, it came out well done. Sent it back for another that came out raw and had a funky smell. She didn’t want another one. The server did right by not charging her for the meal. Neither of us would go back or recommend eating here.

Clean, quick, and professional service. They take pride in their job and it shows. The biscuits and gravy were perfect, I like a little pepper taste in my gravy! My coffee never ran out. Prices are still reasonable in 2023. I’ll be back next time I visit.

It’s a local institution, and with good reason! It’s unpretentious, the food is large and delicious, and you feel immediately at home. Bonus for the soda lovers: if you order a soda, you get a very large glass of soda.
