You won’t regret anything you order here… and because everything is local and fresh, the menu changes seasonally. There are a few menu staples that you can always find, like the bison burger… but every season brings something fresh and exciting! Tonight, for instance, I was treated to a peach and goat cheese tart with spicy honey glaze for an appetizer… one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. Such a perfect balance of sweet and savory with a hint of spice. The menu had many peach flavored dishes to choose from, as it is the season, including a peach cocktail! Did I mention the cocktails also change seasonally? Staff is wonderful and friendly as well as tentative. It’s an intimate, cozy setting. Reservations are a must!!

This place is a great stop! Wonderful service and food. Bison burgers are delicious & chicken salad sandwich looks amazing! The whole restaurant is completely farm to table. The price reflects the quality and commitment to a wonderful meal.

Had high expectations of this farm to table restaurant. It has an inventive menu and a great cocktails/wine/beer list. Unfortunately, both food and service were disappointing. Service: ordered beer twice – before and during dinner. Waited for the first beer for 15 minutes (it’s just a beer in a bottle, not a cocktail, which needs to be prepared). During dinner ordered the 2nd beer – same story. While i was waiting for beer mid-dinner, the waiter stopped by and asked if we wanted deserts (we still had half of our meal on the plate) – very odd timing.

Always a pleasant experience at my favorite restaurant in Bristol. I love their fresh farm to table meals with lots of healthy and non gluten options. Every time a client of mine buys a home in or near Bristol, I always give them a gift card so they can get a feel for the local cuisine and culture. I love it here so much that my surprise 50th Birthday party was thrown here by my daughters. If you’re in the area, give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!!

We found ourselves at The Red Oak while driving around the countryside and realized it’s worth a trip out of the city all by itself – local, unique, and farm-to-table. Our foods tasted delicious, and even the cocktails and beers were something special.

I had the pleasure of joining my friend for her work party at The Red Oak Restaurant on 4/18. I was told the restaurant opened on a day they are normally closed just for this party. Everything we ordered was very delicious – drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. The whitefish and risotto that I had was so good.

The food is locally sourced. The menu changes every two months, which can keep one guessing quite nicely. The staff are courteous and the chef is quick in getting food out to you. The food presentation is truly unique and gives the food an extra special touch. The ambiance is very relaxing, there is no rush to ‘dine and dash’, but the flow is very timely.

Tonight was my first time visiting The Red Oak. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that continued throughout the evening. For drink I had the Safran Side Car. It was very well balanced and was a delicious cocktail to enjoy with my meal. For appetizer my girlfriend I and I ordered the fried goat cheese. It is a MUST order. Seriously if you do not order the fried goat cheese you are missing out. For dinner I had the Grass Fed Grilled Pineapple Burger. It was Delicious. I would order it again. I tried a bite of my girlfriends Mushroom sliders and again I was very impressed, the flavor combinations of the seasoning in the meat, mushrooms, cheese, the aioli and the toasted bun were delicious. The best part, this is truly a local restaurant. By eating here you are not only supporting this one business but multiple Wisconsin businesses that the food has been locally sourced from. I give this restaurant a 10 out of 10. I will definitely be coming back.

Weekday Dinner? Special Date Night? Sunday Breakfast? or Wedding Rehearsal Dinner? There is no other place in Southeast Wisconsin I’d recommend before The Red Oak Restaurant. As permanent resident of Chicago, my fiancée and I have spent the majority of the pandemic staying at our lake home in Racine County. Our choice was a no-brainer for maximizing our outdoor space during this time, but were certain our options for great culinary experiences that we were accustomed to in Chicago would be slim to none.
