I have yet to have a bad experience at this restaurant. The servers are always friendly and helpful. The food is consistently delicious and so far their mixed drinks, the few I’ve tried, are fantastic. I highly recommend the soft shell crab and tempura sweet potatoes for appetizers, you seriously can’t go wrong with them.

the service was absolutely amazing, and the food was even better! i was debating between this restaurant and another in the area but i’m more than happy that i chose red samurai. dinner for one cost about $20-25 for hibachi, but the total bill for 3 of us came to about $100, including cocktails and the tip 🙂 i would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious, fair priced hibachi dinner!

No doubt my favorite Asian restaurant in New Hartford. The food is consistently delicious, the staff is friendly, and we always leave so satisfied. They made my birthday dinner so incredible. I’ve never seen a b-day done there, but it involved many staff beating on drums while singing happy birthday and complimentary sake (whatever you can drink from the keg before giving up, basically). It didn’t feel forced or as if it was a dreaded part of the job- they all had so much energy as the other family at our hibachi station had a birthday, as well. Complimentary fried ice cream was served after dinner and was beyond tasty! Some of my favorites are: the Crazy Friday Roll, the ginger dressing salad, miso soup, and the shrimp dumplings (Shumai).

Absolutely loved it here my daughter took me and my wife. It’s beautiful inside, first time trying Japanese food and everything we got was amazing. I wasnt going to try the sushi but my daughter had me try it and it was actually really good if you can get past the thought of eating raw fish, it was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. Our waitress was very nice and in general we just had a great time here. Highly recommend going here.

There were mealworms in my onion soup. One of my friends got the miso soup and it reminded him of dishwater. Everything was more salty than the salty spittoon. Noods were sad and flavorless. The waitress was whispering to us to not disturb management on lunch break. Ended up falling asleep waiting for the bill.

Smarter Life
We celebrated my Dad’s 67 Birthday at The Red Samurai Steak House and it was amazing!!! We came in as a party of 10 without needing a reservation and was seated in a few minutes. Our dinners were AWESOME & DELICIOUS. I had Filet Mignon & Chicken dinner with vegetables, rice, and mein. I shared a large slice of cheesecake with my better half and wow oh wow was it filling. The show was a ton of fun and the chefs are all very funny and polite. We really really really had a great time. We always do here. Thank you for making my dad’s dinner a great experience.
