The Reel Inn is such a cool place located in the Harbour Inn community. The food and service is always good! They have everything from seafood, steak and a fresh catch of the day to sandwiches and various baskets. The fries are always hot and salted perfectly and the cream of crab soup is amazing! The desserts never disappoint, the key lime pie is our favorite. We usually come here a few times over the Summer and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We had an outstanding experience at The Reel Inn! We’ve been coming here for years, but this year the food has been absolutely outstanding! Such a difference! We’ve been coming back more often, because the service is outstanding, the food is great and the atmosphere is awesome! I’ve been getting the crabcake with shrimp and it is now my go to. The potatoes are done perfectly and seasoned just right. The squash and zucchini medley is perfect as well! The breadstick was so soft and done just right. Will definitely be back as this is one of our favorite restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland. This place is getting busier and busier so I would definitely call ahead for seating.

Since we hadn’t been here before, I ordered the Old Bay spiced chicken wings and Caesar salad which I split with a young cousin. We both enjoyed the meal. My sister had the tacos and while she said the shrimp were good, the taco part was underwhelming. I think when you are in OC, unless the restaurant is known for specific food, you stay with basic choices.

View is nice, and the staff tried but seems disorganized. The shrimp salad was mushy and seemed old or had been sitting out. The chicken in the wrap was so dry and was hard and way over cooked. Fries were cold and tough.

Have eaten at the RE over 20 times over the years. The food is always good. Tonight we arrived as a party of 2 for early dining. Because a few tables were closed due to bad weather, they wouldn’t seat us at one of 4 empty larger tables. Observed 4 servers standing around. Obviously it wasn’t an issue of staffing or available seats. We waited for 15 minutes and asked to see a manager. Still 4 tables open and several servers idle. Manager/owner came to see us. He said it was “their policy”. Repeat customers waiting. Unhappy, and spare resources. Still no larger parties showing up. Hmmmm.
