It’s hard to give any place five stars but this place is easily a 4.5 out of five. Adrian the waiter was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was comfy and inviting. The drinks were good and served quickly. I had the barbacoa nachos, which were very good and filling. My friend had the taco plate with chicken, which was flavorful but a little dry, beef fajita which was good and the ground beef which was amazing. We also shared some Fidel, which I haven’t had in over twenty years but instantly took me back to my childhood and reminded me of my mother’s recipe. Overall this place is a definite spot to check out and enjoy some really good food at. I will definitely be back here next time I’m in the Farmers Market.

This place was so unique. Their drink and food presentation is insanely amazing. Martin, our bartender was badass. Makes a mean strawberry margarita and was knowledgeable on the menu.

Had a great time here. Drinks were strong, nice presentation and the food was even better. The taco tuesday special is a great deal! Will definitely be back when we are in town.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be good because it seemed like the type of place where it’s more aesthetic than flavor but the trompo tacos were so good!! The drinks were good too. We loved the music and ambience as well. It was kind of empty when we went on a weekend but I hope they get more customers as they deserve it! Not the cheapest place but comparable to downtown Dallas food prices. Worth it to me.

Martín made my experience such a great one! He was very polite and attentive to my food needs. Henry always checks in and makes sure I’m taken care of. An overall positive experience in a family atmosphere.Jessica always greets with you a smile at the bar and gets you your drinks in a timely manner.

Christian our waiter was amazing, extremely friendly and great when recommending food choices. I solely eat Vegetarian/Vegan options and the Veggie Fajitas were 10/10. I definitely will return, not to mention The Music & Margaritas are .

The cutest lunch spot that makes their chips and salsa in-house. It’s spacious, with great food and wait staff. I recommend the Regular Torta add shrimp.

First the good: the food is on point! The tacos al pastor (tacos de trompo) are the best I’ve had in DFW so far. We also ordered Esquite and Ceviche appetizers. The esquite was well prepared and creamy. The ceviche was fresh and served with tostada chips, the only thing to improve on this dish is that the shrimp should be cut to small pieces for a more authentic preparation (it also fits better on the chips). The cocktail offerings are also quite good. So… why not 4 or 5 stars? The service is a big issue. I read other reviewers’ complaints that the service was bad and I hoped these were isolated instances. But, unfortunately, the bad service reviews are perceptive. In our case, the service was very S…L…O…W… We visited on a Saturday afternoon at 5PM, it was not busy; I counted about 12-13 guests total in the dining room. Our server was nice and there were plenty of other servers around, but they seemed more concerned with hanging out/ socializing among themselves than they were about waiting on customers. Unfortunately, the bar tender is included in this, so getting drinks out was also frustratingly slow. One of the servers decided to put his personal music playlist in the dining room overhead speakers and, lets just say is was not a fit for the setting. For a restaurant claiming to deliver an “elevated and authentic Mexican culinary experience”, they have a lot of work to do on the service front. We hope to visit again because the food is excellent. Hopefully we’ll experience better service.

Horrible customer service, waited 15 minutes before a waitress came to the table, meanwhile a Mexican family walks in and is greeted with the upmost southern hospitality, with menus, water, and appetizers already there for them as they were being seated. FOOD was 2/10. None of us finished our food. DO NOT RECOMMEND for people of color!! I ordered the queso that COMES WITH FRESH chips, it didn’t come with chips, they wanted me to use the chips that were COMPLIMENTARY while we waited for our horrible food!!! Doesn’t make sense to me. DO NOT SUPPORT !!!!!
