We comes back here once a year for our anniversary celebration. We had our engagement party here 12 years ago. I always enjoy the peaceful view here. They renovated the lobby and change all the doors and windows recently. Service is always really attentive. Good food here. I love the short ribs. Peach Panna Cotta also really refreshing too.

This was such a fabulous dinner. The food is delicious, the setting is beautiful, and the service is amazing. Surprisingly for us, we went with the prix-fixe menu over the tasting menu but I’m glad that we did, every single course was wonderful. My favorites were the scallops and the risotto. I also loved how they brought multiple extra bites in between courses. This was truly a wonderful dining experience and I think I’ll have to dine here every time I visit Napa.

I am a winemaker here in Napa Valley and a very small producer. I often meet customers (friends!) and local restaurants to eat and taste my wine. It makes a big difference when a restaurant welcomes me. I hadn’t been to Auberge in quite some time but I won’t let that lapse happen again. Clearly the atmosphere is stunning but the food was fabulous – we each had our own curated tasting menu. Service was impeccable from manager, Kat to server, Suzy. They impressed me with their respect for what I do and how they handled serving my wine. They treated my wines as if they were ordered from their own menu. Thank you!

What an amazing experience. At first, I was cautious because of all the buzz about being a Michelin-starred restaurant. However, I did not want to set my expectation high to be then disappointed with the experience. Since our arrival at the place, the whole experience was superb. We were received by a courteous valet parking personnel. We made our way to the restaurant and immediately found the hostess, who immediately congratulated us on our anniversary after identifying ourselves. She then took us to our table, which had a fantastic view of the valley. We were served by Miguel, who took excellent care of us. Very attentive personnel all around. We never felt rushed. About the food, it was just divine!!!! Because we were for lunch, we had the three-course meal. Each of us ordered different things, so we had a nice sampler of many items on the menu. All of the items were done to perfection. Super tasty and plentiful. The cocktails were also of the highest quality. One aspect that we loved was when my wife asked what wine would go better with her food. Miguel brought a sampler of two wines. We did pay for the wine sampler, but this is preferable to having a lousy wine. Overall, amazing culinary experience. Already making plans to go back.

My wife and I visited the Auberge du Soleil for lunch, for the first time in over a year. The setting is unquestionably beautiful. It may be worth visiting, just for a glass of wine to enjoy the view. You might be waiting a while though, the service is very polite, but tediously slow. The food is far more mediocre than it used to be. The ingredients are high quality, but assembled into unremarkable Napa cliche dishes. This was true of the overly oily fries, and bland steak tartar, all but the fresh oysters left a lot to be desired. I wonder if the environment has soured; we noticed what appeared to be the manager shouting at the server on more than one occasion at the hostess stand. I’m sad to admit the Auberge has dropped from my list of must visit spots in Napa.
