Love the new restaurant at the lodge. We had excellent service every time we ate here over the weekend. Fried cod sandwich, coleslaw, chili, surf and turf, rack of ribs, cheeseburger… We had it all. Very delicious. A little pricey, but worth it.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this park no longer has a restaurant. They have a bar that serves mediocre rolls while you wait. Getting any actual food is impossible. We signed up on the wait list, and waited 45 minutes to get in. We were surprised to find that they weren’t really all that busy once we got in. Quite a few empty tables. We waited over ten minutes for anyone to come to our table. Finally the server did come. Can I get your drinks started? No thank you, we’d like to order. She took our very simple order for two entrees- chicken tenders and fries / chicken breast and mashed potatoes. You’d think that would be relatively fast. Nope. It was ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES after ordering that we got our food. If you ever do get your food, it will be overpriced, bland, and in my case, cold. Fries were cold and tasted like they’d been under a heat lamp for a few hours. I threw them away. See photos. The chicken was okay, nothing special. Mashed potatoes were obviously instant potatoes with no seasoning, like you’d buy in a box at Dollar Tree. At no time were we offered any discount, accommodation, or understanding from this dumpster fire of a restaurant where we wasted 2 1/2 hours and $40 on bad food and no service. I’ve been going to Fall Creek Falls restaurant since 2005… in the old building. Last night was my last visit. The “hiker sandwiches” that they used to sell for $6? They’re now $15, if you could get one. Go to the Snack Bar instead and get a pizza for $12. This place is a hot mess.

We hadn’t been to Fall Creek Falls restaurant since the remodel. Completely different atmosphere and menu. Our experience was excellent. The food was very good, fast, fresh, homemade and large portions. I would highly recommend the Fritos Pie and Chicken Tenders. We won’t be waiting another 10yrs before our next visit

Delicious!! We were hesitant with all the mixed reviews to eat here, but finally took the plunge and had lunch today. So happy we did come in. We had Kelly as our server and she was so gracious and friendly. As you can tell by my pictures, the food is great! Hubby had the burger and I had a bowl of the chili. It was hot and fresh. Also, the lodge is beautiful and the view of the lake while you eat won’t disappoint. I definitely recommend it and we’ll be back!!!

Highly recommend!! We had Kelly as our server, she was super sweet and gave great recommendations. Food was amazing, very filling and surprisingly very affordable. The food was great, views were stunning and the vibe was cozy. Great portions and located in such a stunning building. Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. The reviews are definitely mixed and I feel like the wait may be an issue during peak times, but we didn’t have any problem at all. Our food came fast, the waitress was great and the food was great! If there may be a wait, you have to realize there are really no restaurants nearby, so everyone comes here to get a decent meal.

At first I was worried by all the mixed reviews that we wouldn’t enjoy the restaurant. Bunch of Karens don’t understand that we are living in post covid times and finding workers is a struggle. Those reviews couldn’t be more wrong. Wow, what a beautiful transformation of the lodge! We came on a very busy Sunday and were seated quickly. The food and service was amazing! The prices are surprisingly reasonable. I loved my fish tacos. My husband had some of the best chicken tenders. The chili was perfect. The fish and chips were awesome too! We will be back.

We ordered food and took to the room. My husband got chicken tenders. He said they were fine. I got pasta primavera. Seriously the most bland mess I have eaten. No salt no spices no anything! Just bad. I am hungry so I am eating it.

Like so many others, I LOVE Fall Creek Falls, and have been going there for many years. We used to always look forward to eating the buffet in the OLD restaurant – especially the fresh catfish, freshly sliced roast beef, ham, great selection of vegetables, salad bar, etc. Many times, we would just drive the 80-90 miles to FCF for a nice one-day getaway and to eat in the OLD restaurant. Sadly, THOSE DAYS ARE GONE! The new place, although offering scenic views of the lake, is NOT EVEN CLOSE to being as good as the old place! The food quality, variety, pricing, “service from happy people”, “time from wait-to-seating”……..NOT EVEN CLOSE!

We came to Fall Creek Falls Campground for a weekend family retreat for the weekend. We went to the on site restaurant the night we arrived because of convenience and we thought it was so cool that this park had so many amenities.
