Small restaurant. Lots of locals pick8ng up food to go at Saturday dinner time. Not air conditioned on this hot evening so I took my rib plate back to my motel. Rib plate had four large, tender ribs. Flavor ok and sauce mild. Cole slaw and potato salad were good. They open the containers to show you what’s in them before bagging them.

Let me tell you that this is some hardcore BBQ. It hits the spot and is super delicious. The restaurant is very much a dive, but in a good, nostalgic way that hits you in the feels and brings the experience screaming into a home run. The beef and pork are delicious. The portions excellent. The sauce is a spot on sweet and spicy blend that BBQ sauce should be. Definitely check this place out if you are in town. And you definitely don’t need no teeth to eat this BBQ, as the sign says coming into the store.

Didnt like the food. Rib tips tasted boiled. No grill/smoked taste at all. Baked beans straight out the can. Mac and cheese overcooked and unseasoned. Best part was the bread and bbq sauce together.
