About The Course
The Ridge Golf Club has a truly an exciting layout for golf, a course in the golden foothills of California designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., known the world over for creating golf holes that take full advantage of their sites while preserving the natural beauty of the land. At The Ridge, you’ll find a series of oak-studded knolls and hills with lots of rock outcroppings and splendid views. There’s a 100-foot elevation change on the course. This feels like wide open country with no homes nearby. You’re really going to experience the natural world of the foothills when you play a round with us. Jones used 48 bunkers on our 170-acre site to enhance the demands of this rugged layout. You’ll also find water on several holes of this par-71 course. But there are four sets of tees here so you can choose how many tests you want to face. “It doesn’t have to be a difficult course,” said Greg French, retired director of golf at The Ridge. “Every player of every skill level can have a good time playing here.”

We hosted a charity golf tournament here and I am definitely planning on coming back. The tournament director, Chris, and his full staff are just amazing. They took care of us with our limited budget and really went the extra mile to make sure everything went off without a hitch. The food was perfect and the course got rave reviews from our hookers. 10/10 would recommend.

We ordered a hamburger the sides were offered to us one being beef stew. when we got our bill we noticed a extra 2.00 charge on the side for the beef stew. She did not let us know it was a extra charge ..shame on you. 20.00 $ hamburger now a 22.00 $ hamburger. Over all a nice place to eat.

Lovely lunch on the patio. Food was great and portion size just right. Friendly staff will have me going back again. Bring your dog!

The squash soup was ok, but the dish needed at least crackers, but a piece of sourdough bread would have upped the item a lot.

Our waitress was very nice! The martinis need work as do the chicken wings.

We normally have a golf round four of us. We normally hang around our hometown! But lately we’ve been getting out. I took them to THE RIDGE. At the end of the round all I could say was great fairways Great greens love the views even the rough..

The bar and grill at The Ridge is very good. A great setting and a relaxing place to enjoy a cold beverage after a round of golf. The golf course is beautiful, but very challenging. A fully equipped pro shop makes The Ridge a great place to enjoy a round of golf and a delicious lunch before or after you hit the links.

Tough course but it was in great shape except the bunkers which needed more sand.
