Haven’t been here in years even though I wanted to but this place HAS NOT LOST A STEP! It’s an absolute hidden gem. Had my birthday dinner here tonight. Service was great and the food, oh my lord is still on my mind hours later. The crab cakes $12.95 !!!!! Are such a steal!!! By far the best bang for your buck anywhere in NJ. Can’t wait to go back. Great job guys, especially after all these years. Words can’t describe how good the food is here.

Food was very good. The penne vodka was perfectly cooked and the mussels marinara was among the best I’ve had. The steak was surprisingly good. The chicken francaise and sole oreganata were both very good. Service was friendly and attentive, but the kitchen definitely had some difficulty getting out main courses, likely due to a large party present. On balance, a great meal.

This place was average for Italian food nowhere close to bad just too much Italian food in the area to be placed any higher. The food is good though. I really don’t get these states with byob. So no beer or wine unless you bring it with you. The service was excellent . Very helpful and attentive. The restaurant was basically empty due to time as I went at like 4 on a Thursday.

Somewhat older crowd. Music playing was Engelbert Humperdinck and songs from the 1940’s (ex. Midnight Serenade). Food was not very flavorful. Chicken breast was not trimmed well and contained some cartilage. Vegetables were steamed and had little to no flavor. Service was good although we were half way through our entrees before we were asked if we wanted fresh cracked pepper. We would return to try a different entree. Prices are moderate. Free street parking. This is a BYOB.
