Located shyly in the corner of the street, with hidden terrace around the corner by the river, The River Mill View make a terrific retreat for a nice meal and a break from the loudly world.

We enjoyed our first visit to the River Mill View restaurant. Owned by the same owners of Dora’s, this BYOB location has a fantastic outdoor atmosphere to enjoy an outdoor dinner. The service is excellent and so was the food. The chicken parmigiana is very good and comparable to that at Dora’s. The salmon was good, however my wife did prefer the salmon with sauce at Dora’s. Overall a terrific time with a great atmosphere.

Two different restaurants in the same town same day two totally different reviews. This place has the most amazing view/ atmosphere! The staff greeted us immediatly, they were very professional yet friendly. They explained the menu and made us feel as if we were the only customers they had all day, but they were busy. The food was very good, interesting menu, reasonable prices. We are coming back Friday for dessert and wine date night!

Creative and delicious food—far above average. Desserts are wonderful. To top it off, you can’t find a prettier setting anywhere. I had the mussels/shrimp/pasta special. I’m sorry I don’t remember the name, but it was one of the best seafood dishes I’ve ever had. And I’m 63.

We stopped in to try and very happy that we did. The staff and servers were super nice and helpful. We enjoyed the grilled octopus, mushroom ravioli, and cod dinner. All were absolutely delicious! BYOB too. We ate on the outside patio. The view is stunning, right along the river and under tree cover. You can see the bridge and mill too! No bugs at all last night. Ice buckets for our wine. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.!

We just had a wonderful meal with highlights being the grilled octopus, brussel sprouts and mains of rigatoni bolognese, sausage and spinach cavatelli but absolutely everything was delicious and they have a wonderful dessert menu so we left with quite the food buzz! Great service and fantastic atmosphere on a nice day. Eat and relax with the South Branch streaming by….A++

The riverfront dining is the main draw here. You can’t beat the view. They don’t offer cocktails. You can only buy wine by the bottle, which is disappointing. The food was sufficient, but not great. If they weren’t a riverfront establishment, I wouldn’t return.
