Had an amazing evening at The River Pavilion! The atmosphere was elegant yet inviting, and the open-air setting by the Hudson River was stunning. The food was fantastic, beautifully presented with incredible flavors. The Cantaloupe Gazpacho and seared scallops were standout dishes. The service was top-notch, making us feel like VIPs. Can’t wait to go back to try everything else on the menu. Highly recommend The River Pavilion!

I went to a gated, craft event with many vendors with handmade items, and food vendors. There were tables to sit and have a meal or ice cream. Hand made jewelry, stylish clothing for women, quilts, pottery and a florist which unique selections for a custom boutique. Sitting was available to view the Hudson River.

Gorgeous setting but dinner was ruined by the poor service. It took probably 15 minutes for a server to come to our table, 20 minutes for our drinks to come out – granted it was not busy and we ordered just wine. We then ordered the burrata ($16) unaware that it did not come with bread. We asked for an order of bread ($8) and another 20 minutes went by until our server came back and asked us if something was wrong, having totally forgotten about the bread. Finally it came out and although the food was good we opted to leave to go elsewhere for more food.

Wife surprised me with an overnight trip to Hutton Brickyards for our wedding anniversary. We made a reservation at the restaurant a few days in advance for 7pm, and the staff was very friendly up front. Unfortunately it took over 2+ hours to get our food. Basically, they lost our order and came back to our table multiple times to confirm it. It wasn’t until 9pm the Maitre d’ came to speak to us and apologized and asked if he could do anything. I asked for part of the bill to be comped and to their credit they did reduce the bill for us. The food did eventually come and tasted delicious, but we really were the last table to eat. The rest of our evening staying at HB was lovely, but I cannot recommend anyone eat at The River Pavilion, they really do not know how to manage their staff, please do better for future guests who are paying good money for an upscale experience.

We got a table right by the water under the pavilion. Spectacular setting, and great service and food to match. Would specifically recommend the burrata and the steak.

The venue is spectacular – amazing design, architecture, setting overlooking the Hudson (literally right on the river). So, it is worth visiting just for the experience, but don’t expect to be blown-away by the food or the service. It is solid, but doesnt match the level of the setting. I would go back but I might just order apps appetizers and drinks and enjoy the setting.

The space is spectacular, the food is mostly good/fine but, in one particular case, misfires very badly: the half-chicken entree is served WITH THE CHICKEN’S FOOT STILL ATTACHED and sticking out off the plate. Diners are expected to eat their chicken looking at that gnarly disgusting claw. All four of us ordered the chicken and every one of us was uncomfortable. It became the focus of the conversation as we tried to make light of it and not ruin our vibe. We then saw the two diners at the table next to us get the same chicken dishes, and have the same surprised reactions we did to the big ugly claws sticking out from their plate. It really was repulsive, and turned what was supposed to be a fun, celebratory night out into one we will remember for all the wrong reasons (none of us stopped talking about it all weekend). Truly one of the most bizarre, unwelcome, nauseating restaurant experiences I have ever had.
