Absolutely fantastic! Our first visit was last week, we ate inside and had the blue gill dinner. Dinner, drinks, and service were amazing. The waitress told us about the patio on the weekends. We came back the next weekend for woodfire pizza on the patio and it was next level! We are hooked and will be regulars!

Sadly while the restaurant is situated on a lakefront with outdoor dining and we were there on a beautiful summer evening, the outside seating was not open. Crazy busy on a Monday at 6:00 p.m. Servers were swamped so the servcie was decent, so long as you didn’t mine waiting for drink orders–I minded so I kept my tab at the bar opened and self-served our drinks since our server was in the weeds. Crispy Bluegill wasn’t crispy, at all. Smoked salmon dip could be more accurately descriped as cream cheese dip with salmon. Onion rings were exquisitely jumbo with yummy homemade sauce. Decent food at fair prices and generous pours. It was lively, loud, and fun.

Recommended by a friend and the Rock did not disappoint. Blue gill appetizer was amazing and the Lobster Mac and Cheese could feed three people. Drove 70 plus miles with the convertible top down. Perfect night.

We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening and found it busy. After a short 20 minute wait at the bar we were seated. Ordered the fried shrimp appetizer, a burger, the salmon BLT and a grilled salmon dinner. All were very delicious – lots of interesting flavors and carefully prepared dishes. Service was attentive, too. We will return – especially on Sunday evenings when most of the restaurants in Three Rivers are closed.

This is a family friendly restaurant with incredible food worth every penny you spend to enjoy it! We go there for family celebrations, evenings to say thank you to a friend for helping and just to share time together. The steaks are tender and flavorful, the hand dipped deep fried mushrooms are incredibly delicious, and dessert is a celebration by itself… don’t let the fact that is a little bit out off the beaten path keep you from enjoying this fabulous place to dine!

The Rock at Big Fish Lake is a decent joint to get some grub. There was a half hour wait when we went because they were so busy. They must be doing something right because this place is in the middle of nowhere. The staff were all friendly and the establishment was clean. After we were seated we had our drink orders taken right away.

Not a variety of food for picky eaters. It’s more of a tourist attraction than just a good place to go with a friend for a quick meal. I would consider it date night prices. I tried the fish tacos plain. They were beyond good. The chorizo and chips were worth a try. The Alfredo I liked but didn’t like that it didn’t have any chicken. Just noodles and sauce. The staff is very friendly but I haven’t heard good things about the Owner and I don’t like supporting owners with a bad reputation.

Two great dinners here (so far) and it’s 100% worth the drive and the wait every time. Salmon BLT was killer and the Bluegill Po Boy was just as good as it sounds. Don’t underestimate this joint!

Everything was excellent. Wait staff very attentive. Food came out quick and was hot. 3 sweet potato options made it hard to decide. Went with sweet potato casserole, not something other places offer and it was delicious. Will definitely be back.
