The Roof at our hotel, The Hotel Salem, was strategically positioned, providing the perfect setting to cap off our nights during our vacation. On our first day in Salem, we made it a point to visit this spot, and it didn’t take long to discern that while some dishes, like the ceviche, fell short of our expectations, others, such as the pork quesadilla, were truly delightful. This venue is an excellent choice for beverages, whether it’s daytime or nighttime. We highly recommend giving it a try at least once, especially if you’re staying in Salem or at The Hotel Salem.

Meh…the view saved this bar/restaurant. Trying to get a bartender to stop chatting with friends so we could order drinks…it took quite a while. Pretty sure the MOD noticed but did nada.

I ordered the pollo tacos and the Caribbean punch. Both excellent! Loved enjoying my meal on the roof top and servers were friendly as well. Good experience overall.

Dakota was awesome! Super friendly and mixed some excellent drinks. Also gave me good recommendations for things to do around the city. Plus he may have the best hair in Salem . Rooftop views were nice although not breathtaking, but I would definitely say this is a cool spot to check out.

Great food, drinks, and service. Couple that with an unbeatable view of Salem, and you’re well on your way to a great night out. A solid option for casual, after-work drinks and organized gatherings with friends alike.

I was looking forward to going to the roof to have a nice meal & a great view … the view was nice however I was so so disappointed in the food. I got a chicken quesadilla and everything was falling out of it. I got carne asada tacos and the shell was cold let’s alone the chewy cold steak. Lastly, got an order of wings that were absolutely awful. I work with restaurants a ton. This was a huge disappointment in the food! the chefs should have a passion on plating & quality content! The waitress would take our order and run away. Drop something off and run away. When we were trying to get her attention and speak to her! as soon as I placed cash down for the payment she ran to it. Completely uncomfortable. This place has so much potential with the view and location why make guests feel like this? It was my first time and was so happy there was a place in the city like this… but I will never be back again. I was also told they did not want to seat me in the back? but tables were back there…. Overall, beyond disappointed. People should be treated with better hospitality and better food quality service.
