The Roosevelt Pizzaria is a cozy little pizza shop. Very friendly staff. The food is unique. I got the potato pie which is really good. It was just a little heavy on the rosemary in areas and couldve used a bit more garlic (but I have a thing for garlic). Otherwise I loved it. It was also nice because I have a picky 6 year old and was able to just order a Pepperoni Pizza for her which she devoured. The dough of the pizza is really good, very much like sourdough.

Great cozy restaurant. I was in the area for work and wanted to grab a quick bite before the long drive home. Pizza Port was a mad house, so I walked next door to Roosevelt Pizza. Service was great! Jasmine was attentive and very entertaining.

Best Calzone I’ve had in my life. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. The marinara was absolutely perfect! Not too much garlic…the tomatoes were the perfect consistency not chunky or soupy…the service was 5 star! The owner made sure we had everything we needed. The pizza has perfectly New York! This place is freaking awesome! Artisan pizza with excellent service! See my yelp review too.. Best pizza in Carlsbad Village with pasta, salads and very creative specials. Open for dinner only. Fun night in an intimate setting featuring creative 70s rock decor. Al fresco patio with heaters available. FULL BAR with specialty cocktails, local draft beers, and sangria. I usually do take out and I totally love coming back again and again. It’s behind Pizza Port near the Boys Club. Go find it. ENJOY
