We had a great breakfast in this clean, cozy place. The build your own omelet was the best spinach omelet I have had. There was fresh spinach on the side- perfect for a veggie lover like me. The server was excellent too. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic breakfast and lunch. Simple fresh ingredients, prepared to perfection. We have been back three days in a row! The green shakshuka, grit cake platter… Try it with fresh vegetables, avocado skillet, pastrami hash, beet salad… Try the shakshuka over a grit cake… Wow! Outdoor and indoor seating and the nicest wait staff… Best in the area! Thank you all at the Roost!!!

It is a fine place for breakfast/lunch/dinner. You have choices… Wrap was okay, grit cake was interesting, yogurt granola was okay – nothing exceptional. We may come back but this time trying to avoid rush hour (9.30-11.30am)

Stopped in this little gem for a quick lunch. I had the tuna melt with a side salad and my husband a chicken wrap with fries. Simple, yet delicious.. fresh not greasy, clean food. Service was friendly and attentive. The screened in porch is super cool .. bug free.. yummy stop.
