Knowing downtown would be busy with events on a beautiful summer Saturday Buffalo afternoon, we knew finding a spot to eat without a long wait in advance of the Bandits Championship game could be a problem. We looked for locations within walking distance to the arena and remembered seeing the Rose Bar & Grill when we were leaving Hofbrauhaus a few months ago (across the street). We did a google search and saw favorable reviews, so we decided to check it out.

We ate at the Rose last weekend when we were in Buffalo, it was an excellent meal! Of course the staff are all friendly, and make everyone feel welcome. The food was great, fish was so fresh and perfectly cooked. But the real winner was the homemade mac ‘n cheese – best I’ve ever had in any restaurant, and many homes! Keep up the good work, and all the best.

I ordered potato skins and cauliflower wings via GrubHub. Not only did I not get the cauliflower wings, I was charged $10 for 4 half’s of potato skins. Absolutely terrible

Went with a group and was not disappointed. I had the Rose Burger and a beer and it was tasty! The service was friendly and prompt considering my party size. Got a chance to meet the owners after the meal and that were so pleasant to connect with. Nice ambiance and design layout.

We went to the Rose Bar & Grille earlier tonight for dinner before attending a concert at the Key Bank Centre and had a great time! The staff is super friendly and the food was delicious. The owner also stopped by multiple times to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. We were really impressed with that personal touch! Also, we got 10% off our meal because they do that if you’re attending a concert downtown and go there to eat first! It saved us $13.00, which was pretty cool. Highly recommended!

Went for my aunts birthday, arrived about 7 o’clock and so me and my cousin ordered chicken wings and chicken fingers, the chicken fingers came out burnt, the owner came over and she cooked my chicken fingers and fries, but the chicken wings were cooked so hard I asked the waiter to have her come back over but Instead she went to help at the bar. The only time the waitress came over was when I complained. She never came to see if we needed our cups refilled, just an over all bad experience

My husband and I stopped in for a drink and bite to eat Saturday night. The bartender Daniel was so friendly and welcoming! So attentive and engaged in great conversation. We had a Philly Steak hoagie and it was delicious! Great draft prices! Perfect place to go for casual drinks and a bite to eat!
