Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Menu choices are great if you like spicy food. The waitress didn’t refill drinks, it was difficult to get the bill and even harder to pay. Ask for the bill when the food arrives and sip slowly.

This has to be one of the top five worst restaurants I’ve been to. Our server was a pleasure. Super attentive and sweet. But other then that. I’m assuming this is the type of place you come for the environment and drinks and not the quality of the food. We ordered the queso. Pretty bland. Ordered our entrees. I just got two single ground beef and cheese tacos. When I tell you if I would of had water in my mouth I would of spit it out when they placed my tacos in front of me because how comically small they were. The smallest tacos I’ve ever seen in my life. Not to mention these were $4.95 a piece. I could of taken the taco and placed it in my palm and wouldn’t of even covered it all. This was the most bland ground meat I’ve ever tasted in my life. Also, personally corn tortillas are the most disgusting taste ever. I stepped outside to take a phone call while I was still chewing and actually spit the food out when I made it outside that’s how gross it was. My significant other had got a variety of tacos and he as well did not care for any of them. I hope they took a look at their reviews and actually put forth some effort on improving the taste quality of their food.

I visited this place for my 35th birthday this August and I loved it!! From the Bob Marley paintings on the wall, to the reggae music, this place is a vibe. Our servers were amazing even though the guy was in training. It was national Rum day and I got a few Pina Coladas. I had the taco trio, tempura shrimp taco, pulled pork taco and a skirt steak taco and they were all so delicious, especially the pulled pork. My mom the nachos, and they are as big as the table!! And for desert, you have to try the banana bread pudding with rum sauce!! You will never try another. Definitely give this place a try!!

Delicious!!! The food here was so full of flavor and prepared perfectly. The staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. They are usually busy so keep that in mind, but definitely worth the wait!

The Rum House is one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans. That made my third visit. It’s always consistent, food is delicious, and the service is always really good. Not over the top, but always friendly and attentive. I tried the crab and sweet potato fritters with remoulade sauce for the first time this time and they were amazing. It was Taco Tuesday, so I also had two shrimp tacos two ways, a calypso beef taco, and ancho mashed potatoes. To cool off, one of the drink specials was a BlueBerry Hill Mojito and it was also fantastic. Highly, highly recommend this place.

This was a nice little spot we stopped at during our time in NOLA. My favorite things on the menu were the drinks: I got the frozen blueberry mojito and it was really good. The jerk chicken taco was good too. Some menu items had interesting combinations (like the mango guacamole and the tempura cauliflower taco, not the biggest fan of these). My girlfriend got the veggie roti and that was also good. I would recommend if you’re in the area.

Food was quick and had great flavor. Service was also attentive. I had the plantains as my side, which were good but a little over cooked for my liking. A little pricey for the amount of food I received but overall good. Would return.

This was a last minute food choice, and the food and service was excellent. I enjoyed three different tacos mahi-mahi, shrimp, and oyster The rum punch was great as well. Plantains were hot and the banana bread pudding topped it off. I will definitely return

Our food and service was excellent. This was our party of four first visit. Our waiter was Morgan and he was THE BEST. He was very patient and friendly, he answered all of our many questions with great detail. I will definitely go back before I leave the city. Our food was a bit cold but still delicious. And the Margarita caught up with me by the time I got home. Delicious!!!

Great place to relax and cool off while strolling Magazine St in the heat. Sangria hit the spot. We had the queso and chips and shared the poblano chicken quesadillas. Both were tasty. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. I also managed to fit a dark and stormy in there for good measure. Service was great and the atmosphere was fun, bright and Caribbean inspired.
