The menu is short and sweet, and I actually really liked it. The options fit the name. The prices are great and two can dine in a budget. I loved how attentive the staff was and the mac and cheese is to die for. The fish was breaded perfectly with a nice spice and my husband says the wings were perfectly cooked and delicious as well. Great experience all around, I will be returning with friends and family for sure.

The employees where very friendly and the food was AWESOME. I ordered mild wings and fries, my friend ordered Philly cheese steak sandwich and fries and green tomatoes!! The atmosphere was TERRIFIC!! If you haven’t tried it then you DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE MISSING!! WE LOVE IT!

The staff were very friendly however the food was too salty for my liking. I had their fried catfish with lima beans and macaroni and cheese. All of it was salty. Even the sweet tea tasted off. I tried their wings once before and they were ok but their ranch was not good too. However, the cake they have is pretty good. The key lime cake was delicious. I would go there for a slice of came again.

SO’s grandmother wanted to try it out. She spent over $100 and the kids wouldn’t even barely eat. We’ve had okay service in the past but not then. Our drinks sat empty, took 30+ minutes to get food, and finally I got my own silverware. My ribs were so dry and hard I couldn’t get them off the bone (trust, I love ribs so I tried), my macaroni’s cheese wasn’t even melted, kids tenders were large but so dry, their fries were hard as rocks and looked dropped in dirty grease or redropped. Very disappointing for that much money and that long of a wait.

Have only picked up a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. Had to pick up the day before as they were closed on Thanksgiving day and by the time I reheated turkey it was pretty dry. I thought price was a little high also. Food might be ok if you are going to eat in and eat while it’s fresh.

It is hit or miss. Best to eat in. Keep giving them a chance because they have worked so hard to get this business up and going. The last time we called in an order and picked up, it was a disaster. Out of 6 meals ordered, 0 were correct and 1 was completely left out.

Everyone in Tallassee Alabama should visit this restaurant. They have a all you can eat for approximately 18.00 and between my husband and myself we tried most of the menu. Everything was very good but the brisket was to die for…the pork chops and pulled pork was heavenly. The sweet potato souffle and Mac and cheese was off the chain, this place is a hidden treasure. so if you are driving thru or live in Tallassee and you haven’t tried The Rustic Mill BBQ add it to your to do list….
