I really enjoyed the food, I liked the Bees Knees BBQ sauce on the pulled pork. The employees seemed like they would have rather been literally anywhere else. The server who delivered our meal literally tossed the sour cream on our table as she was walking away. The sweet tea was great also!

Took my grandson for lunch. The parking lot was packed but I was able to find a spot without issue. We approached the counter to order before seating. There was a short wait but we were greeted by a friendly, smiling employee who took our order quickly and provided us with a number for our order.

I had the 1/2 pound pulled pork plate with fried okra and the mashed potatoes. It was very, very good. The mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had. Definitely get those when you go. The fried okra was nice and crispy. I liked the variety of BBQ sauce as well. The different flavored sweet tea selection was excellent. The price was very reasonable too. I wish I had known about this place a long time ago. I’ll definitely go back.

My husband and I eat here on a regular basis. He has the sliced brisket plate and I have the spareribs. We are never disappointed. The ribs are so good and tender until they fall off the bone. No sauce needed because there seasoned just right. The brisket is as equally delicious. If you love good BBQ at a reasonable price check out The Rusty Pig. You will not be disappointed.

Best FRIED OKRA HANDS DOOOOWN! I’m ached with a culinary degree and I travel tasting food from the east coast to the west to the south and THEY HAVE THE BEST FRIEF OKRA! Affordable, consistent, yummy, friendly staff, cozy decor, clean environment, not much left to ask for. Tried the stewed potatoes for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. $9 for the special with a side and drink post-covid inflation competes with fast food pricing these days. I had the chicken salad on croissant. It was delicious. Hubby had the brisket plate with Brunswick Stew and mashed potatoes. My kids had the kids BBQ Sandwich plates with Mac n cheese, and they all enjoyed theirs as well. The Mac n cheese was YUMMMM!

I have eaten here several times and it has never disappointed. The Tachos are amazing. This is the best way to eat tater tot’s! Also, there is an item that used to be on the menu that was recently brought back for a limited time called piggy cheese. It’s AMAZING!! The piggy cheese comes with a salad as well. I got green beans in place of the salad. Thry also have wonderful sweet tea and even have peach tea and blueberry hibiscus tea. The place is always clean and the service is always wonderful.

The smoked flavor on the meat was fantastic but…. It was dragged down by the fact I hit bone pieces. The BBQ sauce had a strong vinegar taste. the tables were clean, but the walls were dirty and the napkin dispensers were empty.
