Stopped here to get some drinks and appetizers to share. The roti and yellow curry was pretty good. The roti was crispy and curry flavorful and good consistency. The chicken laab wasn’t very good, the ground chicken tasted really gamey or a bit fowl. Ground chicken is also a bit dry in laab compared to beef. We originally wanted the shrimp papaya salad but the waiter misheard us so, we got the regular papaya salad, really good flavors in the papaya salad but definitely missing spice (there were no Thai peppers in there) but other than that, it’s legit (minus the peppers and fermented crab). The cocktails were really good especially the Sazerac that is made, from what I’m told Makers mark that is specifically barreled for The Soap Avenue and you get a sniffer of it, it’s a really good whiskey!

5-8pm happy hour ONLY at the bar. Amazing peanut sauce, and the freshest fresh shrimp rolls I have ever had. The wings are so good, I even dipped them in the amazing- finger licking- peanut sauce. My new go to spot for amazing happy hour, food and service.

Had a birthday dinner here for my partner, and it was tasty and fun! The staff were wonderful and very accommodating of our 14-person party. No one in the group had been here before, and we all had a great time. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

This was our first time here and it was pretty busy so we sat at the bar. The drinks here are amazing! We got the Hella Daisy and Lemon Grass Negroni – Chris made them. Strong drinks and hot crispy basil wings. We’ll come back to try the curry everyone seems to rave about.
