Excellent food and customer service! I ordered the hummus and Jorge’s Chicken Garcia which was delicious! My husband tried the special, Chicken & Grits which was amazing! Our waiter Michael was the best. The service he provided was above anything we expected. We can’t wait to come again.

The food was amazing as was the service. I ordered the pork loin thinking it was going to be 3-4 slices – it was the entire pork loin. Amazing amount of food for the price point. It was very flavorful and tender. One of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was great. We also had the hummus and it was very good. You can tell it was homemade. I would recommend this restaurant over and over. Our server, Michael was simply amazing and I just love his personality and the way he took care of us. My brother and sister-in-law are from out of town and I wanted to make sure they had this dining experience before they went home. They loved it!

Wow wow wow!!! My husband and I are proud food snobs. We travel for his work so we love finding new restaurants in different states. The Salt Block did NOT disappoint!! Small cozy place. Atmosphere is A+, Service is A+, our waitress was amazing & the chef even came out to talk which is amazing. But the real winner is the FOOD. I mean all the way down to the desert was amazing. The BEST steaks we’ve ever tried and were from Texas ♀️. We will definitely be back!!

Inconspicuous and modest on location, prominent and bold on flavor. The location gives an air of a mom and pop diner, but the cuisine is full-on upscale steakhouse at its finest. The rotating menu options keeps things fresh while the quality keeps you coming back for more.

First time trying Japanese Wagyu steak. It wasn’t what I expected. There is a lot of fat in it and the texture felt like I was eating fat. Wagyu isn’t for me. The seasoning of the food was absolutely delicious. The best part of dinner was the slice of cake we had. One of the best slices I had ever had. The food took a long time to get out, but everyone was very nice, and the ambiance of the place felt intimate. I will definitely return and I do recommend. Lovely place to go for a date.

It was a slow night for them in the middle of the week but I was not at all treated like it was a slow night. The chef was at his best and is top notch. The wait staff was attentive and helpful, especially with selecting the best meal according to my preferences. I’m a nutshell everything wax the best (and I’m seriously not exaggerating): the filet mignon wax the best I’ve ever had, the green beans and smashed potato sides were the best, and the hummus and pita chips were also the best I’ve ever had. And the wine selection was good. I ordered wine by the glass that tasted amazing and was perfect for my meal. I ordered dessert to go out of pure curiosity. They had me at mascarpone. And yes it. was amazing also. All in all they were all very nice and professional. They take a lot of pride in their art.

This place is closed more than its open! Absolutely no organization, they have no clue what specials they are having due to the chefs inability to plan. Their beef is way overpriced and dry. Pasta cooked to a chewy texture. Saddest excuse for what they want to call themselves…upscale dining. It’s upscale prices with IHOP quality. Save your money!

Well we have been coming to Saltblock for several years, and Krissy was always our go to waitress. Tonight we had a reservation party of 4 for my wife Mother’s Day gift with our son and his girl friend. Our waiter tonight argued obnoxiously that Salt Block has always served beer from a can never from a bottle! We disagreed and need to say that the experience was not pleasant from that point. Steak were good perfect as always but the appetizers and can beer in a glass was a very disappointing change. We felt that we needed to provide this feedback as in all visits before we would give the bottle beer appetizers and staff a 5 star. Tonight it was at best a 2.5 or 3 star. Steak again were perfection as well as was the Lemon Mascarpone cake but experience is more than the food
