This restaurant is in a beautiful setting. Thornbury park is gorgeous. There is a koi pond on the back deck. The food is good. There are only fountain sodas and bottles in the refrigerator. There is no table service here, which is a shame. You order and a runner brings your food to your table. You get your own drinks. Still it’s a nice place for lunch and a walk.

We go here a few times a year. Burgers and pizza are standard fare, not spectacular, but pretty darn good for the price point. If you like spicy, the Nashville Hot pizza or chicken sandwich are hot, excellent spice! The real winner is the ice cream. I get chocolate marshmallow with whipped cream, but every flavor I’ve tried is great.

The location is peaceful and serene. The interior is homey and very spacious. Good quality tables and chairs. Employees are friendly and they have a full ice cream parlor style freezer and serving station right up front! Best of both worlds. A real gem, will return. ALSO pizza was phenomenal, good flavor but not fake, crust was very tasty. Have to get ice cream next time! 🙂

We ordered salads and it was great to have a nice deck to sit outside. Food was good. Service was slow because it appears they only had two employees working (not their fault). Consider adding one more staff to the front side of the restaurant. Other than that, no complaints!

No idea hat all the decent reviews are about. This place was subpar on almost every level. Only good thing going for it is the staff- which seem nice. Otherwise, the food is entirely lacking, especially at the price point. The food felt like something you’d get at the snack hut at a little league game. Loaded tater tots were anything but loaded, with a little cheese sauce and what looked like baco-bits, instead of real bacon. Just overall very disappointing. Milkshake was decent, and reasonably priced.

Just had a burger from Salty Cow, and it was just a high-quality, tasty burger with good tomato and pickles, great sauce on it too. And they honor medium/rare requests, that’s also not always a given.
